Day 6
Had a wonderful time on the lake yesterday, didn't catch any fish, but it was nice and relaxing.



Silly me forgot sunscreen and a hat, so I ended up with a tad bit of a sunburn.

I need to find a way to post pictures without having to put them in my profile. I haven't taken too many yet, but will do so for the rest of my journey.

Today's agenda... taking a little trip to the marina, if the water levels are down enough to access it, we'll have lunch there. Later we'll visit the Centennial Park in downtown Nashville.

I'm feeling a little anxious to get back on the road, lol. But I'll most likely still wait until Friday so I can get the car organized better, and leave early morning to beat the Nashville traffic. I prefer not to start my day driving through crazy traffic, haha.

If we can get there another ride may be on the agenda.. lol but I'm betting access is still cut off.

What we got is more like Scottish weather: 4 seasons in 1 day with storm winds as the only constant.

Enjoy the sun for all of us here in warm sweaters with the heating on, haha.

We went to the marina where Stu has his other boat. Unfortunately it and the marina grill were inaccessible from the flooding last week. It was a mess there, debris all over the place.

I'll get to do that one more day, haha. It's in the 40's and 50's where I'm going. Packing for this trip has been lots of fun. I've needed three seasons of clothing in my travel bag, lol.

Hi Trixie, I'm glad you found it With it being about traveling, I had to put it in this forum. I was hoping those who I know subscribe to this forum so I could share my adventure with them.

Stu and I went to the Centennial Park in Nashville. The garden was really pretty and I got to see the Parthenon replica. The art work on the building is amazing. I got the picture below from google images. I haven't looked into getting a photo hosting site yet so I can post some of the pictures I'm taking. I can do it by putting them in my profile, but once I delete them from my profile, they disappear in the thread.
