    Humor set aside, it would depend on how far out his imagination wondered. And how much his imagination deterred from his normal character, as to whether or not I'd put much thought into it.

How important is it that you are the focus of someone’s imagination during passionate moments ? Imagination during passion....NEVER. Creativity, you betcha. Exploration, fer sure. Imagination, no thanx. How sad it is having a passionate moment with someone and they call you by someone else's name? Playing doctor is only good when you are passionate with a doctor. The Tarzan/Jane stereotypes speak volumes of your own inability to find your own passion. PASSION is meant to be about being in the moment, intimately with that person. When you do it right, you need no substitutes. PLAY is not the same as passion. Play can lead to passion but when passion is felt, its undivided attention and in the moment, right now, with that specific person. |

I would laugh at that, I find that funny as.
A bit of laughter in a passionate situation does not go amiss. I think it helps the connection. I would ask for the remote control of the Mars rover. . |

How important is it that you are the focus of someone’s imagination during passionate moments ? Extremely. If they aren't, then I'm at best being used as a masturbatory aid at worst impinging on their time. I mean: He tells me he is mars rover and my body is mars .(Hypothetical) Should I be annoyed that his brain is thinking about science , astronomy and technology That shows his focus is on you and his actions are triggering associations. If his focus wasn't on you he'd be muttering "if I hurry up I can get back to watching the mars rover live stream." Or "I'm going to just sit here and twist these nipples while imagining they're controls for the mars rover, while saying 'errmmmmm, vrrrrrt, beep beep boop beep,' making sound effects, I wonder what that would actually sound like in martian atmosphere!" Of course there is also surgical or hyper focus, which isn't all that better. Kind of like driving. I want someone to focus on driving. If they're focused on texting, it's a bad thing. And if they're far too focused on the road, they may stop checking far enough ahead to keep a safe distance, or they may miss the right exit. So it's of extreme importance they are focusing on me during sex. Just not too much, and not too little. |

@bob .. I would remind mars rover that I have renamed Uranus to urrectum and I might launch my own attack @luca .. I am not convinced mars rover would cope with the sheer ascent required to scale mount Olympus .. I think it might topple over and land upside down . You are right though the visual of mount Olympus looks amazingly similar @ ciretom .. as always you made me laugh ... and my nipples retract!!!!!! Hilarious sound effects btw . I can tell you have been practising @tom .. I disagree with you about imagination and passion. . The mind is our most powerful sexual organ . Imagination can enhance passion and vice versus . There are of course extremes and exceptions which may be problematic but in this scenario most have seen the humour and laughter (of the right kind ) can definitely enhance passion  @ boots keep up the good work .. making her laugh is a wonderful skill that need not just be reserved for conversation  @rock ... PLAY is not the same as passion. Play can lead to passion but when passion is felt, its undivided attention and in the moment, right now, with that specific person. I wasn't saying never use an imagination (play). I was saying there's no place for play in actual passion. Its the base of the mountain which advances to the peak. The heat of the moment, should be focused on your partner and the sharing of oneself with utter surrender to each other. An expression of love for each other specifically. I think the play (imagination, substitution) can't reach the level of intimacy with someone in passion. Ya gotta be extremely tuned to your partner in body, mind and spirit to find the real, the important, the lasting passion of love. To me, the play acting is foreplay but the actual passion is at a much deeper connection. Sadly, some people climax before reaching the passion and they need ways to enhance the foreplay. If it works for ya, do it. |
