Dying my hair :) It's going to be a bit of a darker brown than my own hair colour.
Well, simply put, like in my photo.

Still tweaking this awful windows10 computer.
Its so invasive!

I didn't rent this system from microsoft, I bought it.

Microsoft doesn't need to know what I do with it and they certainly should not be removing the programs I have been using for years.
They shouldn't be shutting off my internet while I am watching a movie and then make me go thru hoops to get it back.
They shouldn't make me start a microsoft account just to log on to my own computer.

I spend more time in the settings section than I do getting my work done.
But, I am making progress.
Still have no clue how to get rid of all these ads and prompts.

No, I'm not interested in using bing or edge, if I was, I would set it that way.

Microsoft, STOP telling what to do with my computer and my own money!

I don't like automatic updates when I pay for data by the gig.

Having to sort out every unwanted change an update makes is annoying

I don't like the block/tile style (The "wow" stops now) -and not as easy to mod desktop.

Newer directx lets me play newer games -apart from that I don't do much.

I think the whole world could do with dumbing down in many ways -but the whole world doesn't actually give a shiz what I think.
If someone wants to waste their time with my pinche data, whatev.
It is possible to make too much work with too much data, but I guess people need jobs.

(no pun intended)

Win7 worked perfectly.
I refused to get win8
My system had a hardware crash which was not recoverable.
I bought a new system out of the box, a gaming system becauyse it had the closest hardware specs I was looking for on short notice.
(My entire entertainment system is based on my computer and high speed internet connection)

Win10 seems like it is built for people who have never had a computer before and want their computer experience to match their phone experience.
I use my phone as a phone. I barely even text.

Microsoft is invasive.
Even standard solitare is gone, replaced by an ad driven one.
One drive wants me to store my data online but only a limited amount.
If I need more space, I have to pay for it. I already paid for this computer why would I want to keep paying just to use it?

It deleted some programs I used for years. Luckily I kept the install files on an external drive. I researched how to shut off the auto install, reinstalled and they work perfectly.

It kept wanting to save power. I had to go into power settings and shut that feature off but I also had to go into hardware and uncheck the feature to save power by shutting down that device. That was how I fixed the loss of internet. Their bing troubleshooter was far from accurate and it wasn't till I asked at a computer tweaking forum till I found out how to fix it for good.

Then, it was automatically updating and installing those updates. After updates, my connection speeds were back to default and many tweaks had to be redone, yet again. Plus, whenever I ran a game, it tried to connect to the microsoft store and gave me an error I had to dismiss before the game would resume.

But, there are some perks, mostly hardware related. Its lightning fast compared to my old worn system. External harddrive transfers are faster and have less hangs but shutting them off is difficult because something keeps the drive in uise even after an hour of idle time.

This system has no dvd burner/player. I had to buy a dvd reader separately. It won't burn but it does read discs okay. I had to buy a different camera because my old win7 camera is no longer compatible. Plus, I had to download and install aftermarket camera program because the system program constantly wanted to send my photos and videos to the internet.

Cortana is a waste of ram and invasive.
Love the SSD but its small so I am rapidly filling up my HHD. I have a SSD and a 1 TB HHD in my system. I have to put my install files on the HHD and create a shortcut so I can rin the programs without using up my SSD space.

My SSD fragments fast. I defragment at least 1x perday and its always 2-4% fragmented.

I'm making progress tho. Eventually I'll steal my computer back from microsoft.

Did you see the option which asked if you would let them access your computer for stuff others need? Might be in the install process. I think all this data sharing and cloud storage will eventually turn around and bite us in the proverbial a55.
