Been having the chills all day. My temp was 103. Nurse sent me home. I was there about 2 hours. She gave me three Ibuprofen. I am glad I have so much sick time build up. Just going to get some stick on tile to do the bathroom. I am so ready to get the washer and dryer back in. Mom was compassionate. I appreciated that, Karen. I still have to pick up two more loads of laundry. I waited to the last minute and there sure was a lot of it. Got to sweat this stuff out. I think I have a slight fever. Glad I got the gas on the way to home. Payday tomorrow. I wouldn't wish this stuff I got on my worse enemy. Coughing up phelgm and got the chills. I am going to turn the heater up and put another blanket on the bed.

I am glad ya'll are feeling better. I was shopping at Fred's and picked up some night time sever cold Theraflu. Got some Hall's cough drops and Ruby Red Grapefruit juice. I am just sitting here chillin. I met one of the day nurses at Fred's and she told me tht she didn't know you could get that type of Theraflu over the counter. I went to pay my Internet after I got my paycheck and they asked me not to breathe in there. Good to see you again Coco and Amber.

Roy - you take care of yourself. Hope you get over that stuff soon. Don't get that ugly flu that is going around and turning into pneumonia. If it hangs on, go to the doctor. I am serious, that flu is ugly. It is one that didn't get covered by the flu shots this year and is putting people in the hospital. My guess (I don't know for a fact) but suspect it may be the one that put Snuggles on the respirator - she started out with the flu, turned into pneumonia and has been on a respirator for what will be 3 weeks on Sunday and is not getting better. So please, if you don't get better or start to feel at all like it is moving into your lungs, run, don't walk to your doctor, okay??

Karen - hope you are having a good day and things are mellowing for you. Glad you had a good visit with the folks.

Jax - sorry your son acted out and got kicked out of daycare. That maked life doubly tough.

Amber - hope things are going well for you. Get your tooth fixed as soon as you can, don't let it get too bad on you. I hate tooth pain. Hope your new meds are working for you.

Twitch - sorry you haven't found a job yet. Have you tried any of the temp agencies just to get some money coming?? Wish I had an answer for you. The job market sucks right now. I am so sick of the big corporations shipping all the jobs overseas. Have you posted your resume on Monster.com ?? That may help you out too. Just a thought. Good luck.

I have been laying low still. Still talking to Snuggles daughter every day trying to help her through Pam being on a ventilator, will be 3 weeks on Sunday, her lung is still collapsed for about 2 weeks now, hasn't reinflated. I have been trying to problem solve with her daughter and helping her come up with ways to deal with issues that come up. She was much calmer today and more in control. Even family members have been harassing her, and gave her some ideas yesterday to deal with them too. She was much stronger today, so think she is feeling a lot better, has more information and not feeling so helpless. Just wish Pam would make some kind of improvement. You know, this started out as the flu, then pneumonia and ends up with her on a ventilator. Keep her in your prayers if you would. Take care and have a good day.

Just now found out that someone I love has oral cancer. He only had about 5 min to talk to me, drop the bomb and then had to get back to what he was doing. Im like Whaaaa????? Can you say a prayer for John?
