Funny you also experience her that way! The Dark Tower... Excellent movie! I do hope they make a sequel although I suspect Idris Elba won't be in it anymore. The other one sounds weird. I'll check it out though. Cheers! EDIT: that's a really old movie, from before I was even born. I don't watch such old movies. I might occasionally go for an 80s movie but even that is rare.

Just watched Jolt (2021) k beckinsale j courtney s tucci 6.0 revenge action LOL, turned out to be a good one, hahaha!

Jolt I turned off. A violent kid with an attitude problem, not my thing. Spectral that you mentioned is indeed an awesome movie! I'm going to watch that again :)

Jungle Cruise - 2021 Dwayne Johnson, Emily Hunt, Jack Whitehall Action adventure Disney movie I really liked it. Just good entertainment with a good cast.

Lone Survivor - 2014 - 7,5 rating With Mark Wahlberg Based on a true story. A mission in Afghanistan goes horribly wrong. Not sure if the cause of the trouble in the movie was the same in real life. But it was really stupid, if not ridiculous. One decision, and totally underestimating the country's people. Rule 1 Know thy enenmy. Rule 2 Never underestimate thy enemy. These people are in their country, on their terrain that they are used to, they are agile & nimble, and swift and strong as mountain goats. If you don't even know that you shouldn't be in Afghanistan. Again, I don't know if in real life that was the reason for it all going wrong but I'm guessing it was. Nevertheless, it was a bloody good movie, and especially the ending incredibly moving. I cried. . . .

Brick Mansions - 2014 Was suggested by SlimGym elsewhere and I really liked it! Having David Belle in there, the founder of parkour, was a great choice! And Paul Walker does a good job with stunts as well. A shame the man passed away, even before the movie got released. All in all very much worth the watch, and don't think too easily "totally unbelievable" cos people well trained in parkour actually do that stuff for real. It was great!

9 - 2009 - 7,1 rating Animation. Good movie, light-hearted and yet a deep theme. Very much worth the watch!

Jungle 2017 Daniel Ratcliffe and some other familiar faces Based on a true story. Very good movie, totally unbelievable how he... (not saying, would be a spoiler). Quite emotional in the end.

Watched a foreign movie called "outside the law". A story of an Algerian family who get involved with the freedom struggle, to gain independence from France !!! Wow .... did not know the French were as bad as any other colonists??? Excellent watch ..

Wow .... did not know the French were as bad as any other colonists??? Excellent watch .. Doesn't surprise me at all. The French aren't a particularly gentle people. They're quite arrogant and don't give a toss what others think. Just think of all the nuclear testing they kept doing even though the entire world was protesting against it. They didn't give a toss and just continued with it. They're the ones responsible for sinking Green Peace's Rainbow Warrior when GP was observing the fallout from their nuclear tests on Mururoa Atoll, part of French Polynesia, and protesting against it. French a-holes posing as tourists and supporters boarded the ship. Two explosives sank it in 1985. They got on my blacklist right there and then. And having a short holiday in France later made clear that was a good choice. If you're interested: Rainbow Warrior was sabotaged and sunk just before midnight NZST on 10 July 1985, by two explosive devices attached to the hull by operatives of the French intelligence service (DGSE). One of the twelve people on board, photographer Fernando Pereira, returned to the ship after the first explosion to attempt to retrieve his equipment, and was killed when the ship was sunk by the second, larger explosion. A homicide inquiry began after the arrests of two French agents. The revelations of French involvement caused a political scandal and the French Minister of Defence Charles Hernu resigned. The captured French agents were imprisoned, but later transferred to French custody. They were confined to the French military base on the Island of Hao for a brief period before being released. After facing international pressure, France agreed to pay compensation to Greenpeace, and later admissions from the former head of the DGSE revealed that three teams had carried out the bombings. In addition to those successfully prosecuted, two DGSE divers, Jacques Camurier and Alain Tonel, had carried out the actual bombing, but their identities have never been officially confirmed I'll check out the movie later :) I like learning historic stuff.
