Lately it seems the newer movies have been crapfests. Low production standards, bad acting and bad stories. ...... The Hunt (2020) ..... I just watched The Hunt. Not too bad. I was wondering how similar it would be to Surviving the Game but that's WAY better. Still, this was not a bad watch. |

Split second: Rutger Hauer.
Filmed in the 90's but set in 2018 when global warming has drowned large parts of London. Rutger plays a burnt out detective who's partner was murdered by a serial killer several years before and now the killer is back, tearing out hearts and has their sights set on Rutger. This film is mad as a box of frogs but is hugely entertaining as long as you just go with the idea. |

Well I was bored and potted ,lol (I just made up a slang word) so I tried to watch The Book Club, but must not of smoked enough because I didn't even make 1/4 of the way through. For one thing the plot seemed to center around the crappiest book ever fifty shades of grey , which I am proud to say I've never read and intend to never. I think the movie was supposed to make people think a bunch of geriatric ladies still are hot to trot lol

Delighted to have finally found a DVD of "The Dead and the Deadly" with Sammo Hung. It's a difficult film to find and together with "Encounters of the Spooky Kind" it created a new sub-genre of comedy-horror in HongKong films, with the best of these tributes being "Mr. Vampire". 🤩

I just would've preferred a different ending, it was rather open. A Killer Next Door... Could've been really good but the action and esp fighting scene at the end is utter crap. The fact it's a true story is quite shocking. A lot of crazy idiots in this world! Deep Blue Sea 3... already watched the other day. Now for the next one, haha. |

Quite good! The Day the Earth Stood Still. Loved that one! The only downside is Jaden Smith in it. Arrogant snotface, even at that age, just like he is in real life. The movie is good though, Keanu Reeves in it. |
