the idea of a god was to scare little kids into shutting their mouths so saber toothed tigers wouldn't eat them. then later on gods got more sophisticated and used as a way for weak people to assert control over the strong hunter/warriors of the tribe. God knows the past, present and future. God knows all things which have happened, are happening or will happen. If God knew that Satan was going to be evil and didn't create Satan, then God would know something that hadn't happened, wasn't happening and would never happen. Paradox. God can't know what won't happen. God knows all that will happen.
