Rabbit:

I can only speak of that which I believe...

I will not entertain the notion of selective omniscience, because I do not believe it...

The scenerio you describe bothered me at one time also... I have since came to a realization of sorts... and allowed a new notion to present itself to my heart... and believe me, it rests quite well... and makes "sense" to me... understandable, acceptable, and rational... in the eyes of my heart... and my spirit...

I cannot defend parts of Christian doctrine which did not rest well within me...

If you would like to hear how I feel just ask...

May you find peace within Rabbit...

Spider I don't think even your Christian friends want to follow you down that hole.

That doesn't bother me in the least. They will know that I am right when the time is right.

I think this is exactly the problem. So many people just willing to iron over the tough parts. Well this is just one of many problems in there. This is the easiest to defend. Obviously because you cannot disagree that God created Satan and still believe in God. God the source of all evil

Even spiders defense says that God Created All evil.

Evil is not a thing, it is an action. Since God only performs good actions, God did not create evil. Evil is created by anyone who commits an evil action. Since Satan is the first being to perform an evil action, Satan is the original source of evil in the universe.

Rabbit:

I do not recognize this picture of God that you paint...

therefore I cannot defend it...

will not defend it...

my beliefs need no defense...

within me, they hold water...

Now you are going in circles, appearantly you get pleasure from your behavior. It pleases you to act in this manner, but is it fullfilling? Do you feel like a better person? Do you feel superior to those with whom you debate in this manner?

It seems very strange that you completely blame the actions of one free willed being on another free willed being. Shouldn't the one who performs the action be the guilty party?

Rabbit:

I have one thing to say here... because you are debating something that I myself have debated many times over... from your "side" of this discussion...

I no longer feel that need... whatever it is you seek my friend, you will find... seek good...

Look on the bright side rabbit with your logic you can now say god made me do it vs the devil made me do it.

By the way you mentioned earlier becoming athiest which is the non-belief in gods existence that will be impossible for you since you think god created all that is evil hence a belief in god.

By hte way it's called self responsilbility yes god is all knowing and knows what your choice is but it still reamins your choice. kinda like watching your 2 year old choose between two toys one bigger than the other you know what one they are gonna pick but does it mean you made them?

God is totally responsible for everything.

There can be no denying that.

In Pantheism this isn't a problem

In Christianity it’s problematic.

Maybe the problem doesn’t lie with God.

Maybe the problem lies with the religion.

Just something to think about.

This same line of reasoning convicts the makers of rope as murderers, because their rope was used to lynch black people. Gun makers are guilty of murder, because some people use their guns to kill people. This line of reasoning removes any personal responsibility and places all blame on the one who allowed free will, not the one who exercises their free will to commit evil.

Satan was God's most coveted angel.....But the problem arose when Satan thought he was better then God....Then God banished him for 2000 years...Well guess what folks...he (satan) is back and reeking havoc on all......Now for me I can believe that all the evil, people, is of satan because his biggest wish is that everyone hate God...and he will do whatever that takes such as serpent in the Garden of Eden telling Eve she is God and eat from the tree of knowldge, to everything that is evil incarnate on earth right now. And also remember that satan is a sly sly evil being....And his only purpose is to make you hate God. PERIOD

But their is light at the end of the tunnel so to speak. Because satan will untimately be destroyed never to do evil again. rev 20:10

It’s not an issue of finding someone to blame.

That finger-pointing mentality comes from Christianity.

In pantheism there’s no need to point fingers. It’s a totally different picture of god altogether.

This is one characteristic that I totally dislike about Christianity. It’s fundamentally a judgmental religion and breeds finger-pointers.

Jesus tried to change that but no one will listen to him.

Ironically, many people who call themselves “Christians” are the most rebellious people against Jesus. They constantly deny his teachings and instead they pretend that they speak for Jesus. They love to judge and point fingers. This is what attracts a lot of people to the religion. It gives them an ego boost making them think that they can speak for God. laugh

In truth they just twist the words of the Bible into gross contortions for their own selfish egotistical pride. They get off on pretending that they speak for God. It’s a sickness that can be really disgusting at times. sick

Those sound like terrible people, I'm very glad that nobody around here acts like that. I have met a few people like that. One person I met believes in God, but denies that God had anything to do with the Bible. You see, he thinks he speaks for God by denying the Bible, but he condemns others whom he perceives to be speaking for God.

So Rabbit what you are saying is that everything you do wrong in your life is your parents' fault because they created you?? Or is it your fault because you have freedom of will and choice??
