Topic: God creatd Satan so God = Most Evil | |
---|---|
This is my whole problem with the Christian church. God created the most evil being knowing full well what he would do. I don't care if he gave him free will or not. He still knew what Satan would do had he created him anyway. That makes God the source of all evil.

No God gave us free choice to choose which path we wanted to go. Also if there was no evil how would we know what good is? We would take good for granted. I don't know how I would be able to get through life without God in my life!

That is surely a way to look at it
but if I recall rightly, Satan once was an angel, I think the most favoured angel at that. But he wanted more, like a spoiled child in any family. |

invisible
skipgirl I agree completely. Gods always there if u look and accept. Many times, more than I can count, god has kept me out of harms way...led me to make good decisions. On a lighter note, there is an evil side...but its in check. |

See, there you go! People just can't live without believing that they've got this invisible friend who is always there for them - and I say that loosely because people have got to be really deluded to have conversations with themselves and believe that it's "God" they're talking to!

Skip and Invis are not disagreeing with me that God created Evil. If he created evil then he is the most evil the source of all evil is God. |

On a lighter note, there is an evil side...but its in check. Which God created. |

This is my whole problem with the Christian church. God created the most evil being knowing full well what he would do. I don't care if he gave him free will or not. He still knew what Satan would do had he created him anyway. That makes God the source of all evil. God knows everything which has, is or will happen. God couldn't know that Satan would be evil, unless he created Satan. If God knew that Satan would be evil, before He created Satan and then God choose to not create Satan, then God would know something that would never happen. Follow me here... 1. God decides to create Satan. 2. God knows that Satan will be evil. 3. God decides to not make Satan, because he will be evil. 4. God knows that a being who will never exist would be evil if he existed. This is a logical paradox. A being must exist for God to know that beings actions. When Abraham was promised the land of Canaan, God said that he couldn't give Abrahan the land yet, because the people there weren't yet evil enough to deserve God's punishment. God knew the future, He knew that the people were going to be extremely wicked, but the only way God could know that is if it was going to happen. If God had destroyed the Canaanites immediately, then God would have been punishing innocent people. You see, they hadn't yet commited their sins. God's knowledge of the future DEPENDS on the fact that those future events will happen. If something is never going to happen, God cannot know that it will happen. That would mean that God believed something that is false. If God knows that Satan is evil, but Satan never exists, then God believes a lie. |

Im sure he did

Although I do not agree with the whole "angel turned aganist God" notion, I recognize the balance that must be...
you cannot have just one side of polar opposites... both must exist... I also do not relate to the notion of "evil"... as most Christianity does... I believe it is all "out there", it is our choice what we allow to enter our lives... or at least remain... after experience with either, we should be able to recognize... then "choose"... by thinking, entertaining, embracing, living, and practicing that which we want more of... The amount of time spent will equally give birth to more of that on which the time has been spent... it is our choice... |

OF COURSE HE DID,RABBIT !!!
But, you didn't read the whole thing??????????? Isaiah 45 : 6,7. "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil : I the LORD do all these things. Drop down,ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness : let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together ; I the LORD have created it." I wonder.......why would you read the part about what's God's little problem, that He created for himself to deal with so you wouldn't have to........without reading the part that gives you and I to do as we please in the second half of His message? " let righteousness spring up together" means GO FOR IT..... can you do that? Leave the devil to God and go out and live your life and it's all good....yes? |
