I get at least 3-4 emails per week from accounts that have pictures of women and say they are based in Asian countries. Anybody else getting these?

I haven't actually been asked to send money to anybody or try to be someone's meal ticket like I have on other sites. I was just wondering what gives?

Sometimes I get email's and I will respond back and then they never talk to me again so the whole thing is really strange.

It's the internet. You are on an open world wide web site.

if they don't reply back, then they probably didn't mean what they said. Sounds like a scam.

You get this as well then. I think South America, Africa and Asia should be banned from Mingle. I can't understand a word they say anyway.

Yep, I get them too and they get binned and blocked!

If their genuine then I like them, I'm interested in different cultures but most are scammers.

That's why I put restrictions on my mail settings. It's a shame we can't restrict who sends friend requests, lots of those from all over, as well.

I figured as much... Other sites I frequent I may get one per year but on this site I get several per week. Got 2 today.

I'm from Africa and I get emails from men in England, America and Canada, am I to assume that these are scammers too?

There are scammers everywhere, they are a nuisance at best and criminal fraudsters at worst, never send money to anyone you have only met on line, and always report those you suspect as scammers to the site.

Yeah, I get them sometimes, although not as many as I used to.

If they say something like, "Hello. How are you today?" I don't usually bother to reply. Did with one the other day though that said on her profile that she was a born again christian and that she was looking for a "God fearing man". I said sorry but that I'm not a christian and don't believe in God and don't really want to talk about it. She replied, saying that some people don't believe but can be persuaded (Paraphrasing there because her English was very poor). I replied again, saying, "Yeah, good luck with that then.

Ocasionally get ones that say that they liked my forum posts and my profile. Sometimes I reply to those and sometimes I don't but if I don't actually know them from the forums I usually just ignore them but don't block them because that's rude and unnecessary.

I've never reported a scammer, although plenty try. Not really my problem if other people are stupid enough to be taken in by obvious BS.

I for one am glad ALL countries are allowed on Mingle as one of the friends I made on here is from the Philippines.

Some of the messages I get, a Pigeon breakdancing on the keyboard could've made better sense! My head is fried enough, without having to decipher some of the drivel that is sent to me!

I try to support as many women from other countries as I can. I have a fund set up for auto withdraws. After the first 4 emails you automatically recieve a minimum payment, tax deductable of course each month. It's nice you say good things to me about your family's history and how important it is for you to come live with me. I believe you and welcome all mail.

I also will go off site with you and get to know you intimately, pictures are always apperiated. It's nice you know God so well and he doesn't mind you sending me the nudes (only for my eyes obviously).
