story of what he did but did he really? and if so why? you know his

I think Iraq's invasion of Kuwait says all that needs to be said about
the a$$hole. Originally, Kuwait DID belong to Iraq at one point, but
when their army went in, they didn't go in to welcome Kuwait back to the
fold, they raped, murdered, pillaged and plundered. And yes, Saddam DID
gas a good number of Kurds within Iraq. If you ask me, they should fly
him back to Iraq and drop him right smack in the middle of Kurdish
territory. That'll ruin his day right quick.

there was a story not too long ago about a florida execution in which
they put the needle all the way through the vein so instead of the
poison flowing into his bloodstream and making him unconscious before he
died he was laying there for 12 minutes with the poison filling his
tissue. after he finally died they discovered severe chemical burns on
the outside of his skin. they stopped all executions temporarily but i
don't know if they have resumed.
this does not change my mind on capital punishment but it does bring up
an interesting point for those who say it is cruel and unusual
punishment.

If there is DNA enidence or say um... Saddam or um... a Ted Bundy
type...

I saw a comment by stormy (something) way back at the beginning of this
thread and agree with her... If prison was more like prison i.e., the
old chain gang working crews or doing some constructive work for the
good of society at large more prisoners would want to walk the straight
and narrow.

I also remember a guy in California who stole a video tape and it was
like his third strike on theft and he got 25 years, that guy should be
on a chain gang for a few years so he would learn a lesson, instead he
is learning new ways to shoplift and gouge people on the internet while
in prison.

If prison was more like prison, it would make sense but the way it is,
it does not make any sense at ALL.

I think if you killed somebody in a non-self-defense way, you should be
killed the same way. If a guy rapes and strangles women, the same should
happen to him. If somebody shoots somebody and kills them, they should
be shot too.
