No, the name "Jesus" is not found in the old testament. He did not have this "title/name" until he took on a form in the flesh and dwelt among us. But that is why in some places it says "LORD God" and "God" through out the old testament. To separate the persons and give a more in depth description on who is being referred to.



Jesus is God and the son of God. Jesus is OUR God. AGAIN after AGAIN "God" is not denoted to one singular being. It is a TITLE, not a species, not a type of being, but a TITLE of a being. That's why it ALWAYS says the Lord THY God. And when Jesus referres to his father, he ONLY says HIS God. But to us, they are ONE God, they BOTH have authority over us.

The Father and Jesus are one God. When Jesus says "My Father and I are one", the word translated into one is referring to goals and actions. Not physically one.
