I did not explicitly say they should not, in exact specifics. But it is fact, that women are generally more tender and submissive then men. ESPECIALLY in this time frame of mankind in question when these scriptures were written down. Women were not always as outspoken as they are now. Nothing to do with any "sexist". Just that is how it is. Women only very recently have become more and more outspoken for themselves. But you know as well as I do, that is not the way it has always been. REGARDLESS of the reason of why it hasn't always been, fact still remains the same. Ps. Quit editing the posts one makes. If you wish to only respond to a specific part, quote it, leaving the remaining post in there. ok...then you said that women should not teach, in "not" exact specifics own up to what you post... Tell me what post number it was that I said women should not teach. Cause if I did in fact say ANYTHING in those exact words I stand corrected in my mistake. Because I have explicitly even given the example of some Pentecostals have female preachers. And I further explained that verse(s) of women remaining silent in church. Everyone should remain silent during service. And it says for the woman to ask the husband at home if she has any questions, because in their CULTURE it was not permitted for women to speak in public again is why they had to have their heads covered while praying. Was said to both men and women and doesn't explicitly say "men go preach to the world". Mark 16:15 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Tell me what post number it was that I said women should not teach. Cause if I did in fact say ANYTHING in those exact words I stand corrected in my mistake. Cowboy let it go...you got busted making sexists..Paul was sexist...he learn this from Jesus...The Bible is sexist...Heaven is sexist Because I have explicitly even given the example of some Pentecostals have female preachers. right...you claim that was not normal women but stern and abrupt like Men, but either way those Women are not following The New Testament And I further explained that verse(s) of women remaining silent in church. Everyone should remain silent during service. too late Cowboy...you already posted what you thought the passage meant..that women was not forceful as men and therefore why would God have them teach.... Yes, that's what I "thought" to have been the reason. But I don't live on assumptions, so I looked into it further and found that in their culture at that time, it was not permitted for a woman to speak in public. the bible is not about the culture...the bible is suppose to change any and all culture to fit the bible or the word of God...not the other way around in other words your culture will be assimulated...resistance is futile....we are Borg....oops...er... I meant Christians Incorrect. The bible is a collection of epistles, letters written to someone(s) for some reason or other for a specific reason. Again, when these epistles or "books" were written originally, the writer did not specifically intend for them to be all gathered together in one book. Again, most to all the different authors/people of and in the different books didn't even know one another, didn't even know the other even existed. And no, following the scriptures isn't about following the culture they had or assimilating. It's about learning the ways God wishes for us to be. That is why I have once again specifically said and brought to the attention of women having their heads covered was NOT a law from God. It was in THEIR culture.

I asked for either the post you are saying I made that statement or the direct verse. Not your presumptions or misunderstandings of a verse(s). 5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. Wouldn't make much sense for something to say her head to be covered or shorn... shorn means shaven. So please if you wish to continue to say a verse says that, present it for us all to see this.
