IMO, Gearhead...the point is not quite so moot. By bringing up the paralyzed scenario, I was trying to "gently" explain that just because a man's genitalia doesn't function, that does not mean he cannot enjoy a fulfilling sex life...take my word for it...
What I was "gently" implying is that a sexual predator does not need a functioning pen!$ ( don't know if that word is still taboo here) in order to molest or torture a child...see my point? Neutering is not a viable option.
How fulfilling of a sex life could the guys have with a limp noodle? Unless maybe if you brought duct tape and popsicle sticks into the scenario..... That's still apples and bananas though. Being able to raise the pole doesn't necessarily mean that you'll do anything with it if you have no flag to put on it. In fact, several states allow sex offenders to be castrated in lieu of jail time because of the drop in testosterone (and hopefully sex drive). This isn't a cure-all, but in some cases I certainly think it's a better solution than the alternatives.
*chuckle* Sex begins in the brain...not whether the "noodle" is limp or hard. The point is...as I & another poster pointed out...you do not need a "noodle" to molest a child...

Put them together in an inaccessible prison, in Alaska or a desert or an island. Give them a lot of freedom and treat them like humans, but lock them up for good. If they don't want to be in prison, they should have the option for the death penalty.

In other words..let us take care of them for the rest of their natural lives, let them have accass to the internet, write books and cry about how badly they are mistreated...wow...that's real punishment there.

By treat them like humans, I mean I don't think they should be tortured or mutilated.
Why should I care if they write books or complain about their treatment?
I believe that all prisons should require that the inmates work. They work or they go in the hole. The goal would be to make prisons self sustaining. Put the prison somewhere that limited or no guards would be required. I think it could be done without encouraging more offenders or acting like barbarians.

only on his part in those times.. at least we know we are who we are.. and I can vouche for you and you can vouche for me. :)
At the very least we can both vouch that neither of us like "fake" Mexican food....but the tortilla chips and beer was great!! Oh and that you wore a beautiful gown for your wedding...

Captain feels sexual predators should be in jail for life, get a frontal lobotomy, and be put in a room making sporks for Taco Bell for the rest of their lives....and if they meet quota, they get a Happy Meal on Friday....but NO toy in it.

Treat the prisoners like humans...feed them, give them access to everything they need...don't make them work..Let them write their books about their crimes and make millions of dollars. Let them write or call their friends and keep up with the outside world..compare notes on who is doing what to what child. Why is it barbaric to treat them as harshly as they treated their victums...whose lives have been ruined and may never live a normal fear free life?

Yes, they get elected..and maybe Liberals was too broad of a spectrum...let's just say the people that want everyting to be all sweetness and light..slap someone's hand for murder or rape or sexual abuse of a child, compare it to let's say, a parking ticket. But whatever we do, let's not give an eye for an eye.
Those children were YOUNG small innocent beings that were preyed upon by a man weighing 208 pounds...what chance did they have? Who was there to protect them? He gave them no choice in the matter. Their lives have been RUINED if not completely taken away from them.
