Glad to know Mingle has dealt reasonably quickly with this. I was never a friend to Lex but I after posting with him occasionally on here I was at least a little surprised at what I saw on ABC's website this morning. Thanks Again for keeping us "in the know". it is unfortunate. to his credit, he was EMPHATIC about not dating anyone with kids though,,, Don't be absurd. You are basing your opinion on what he wrote here? That was all a lie. What he did was a crime and hiding identities is another crime ... which he is doing now. He deserves no credit and you don't know what else he has been doing in the meantime. noone knows what 'else' he was doing,,,,thats why my comment was about something specific that I witnessed here in the forums.

Just be glad I am crazier than what you think I am. It is the normal people you gotta watch out for. Lex wasn't so normal did you read his profile. Is any of that true about him being a published author?? Yes he is....his book will be used as kindling for a fire over my sister's house this weekend. (I'm glad I didn't buy a Kindle so I could buy the rest of his books easier!) He always said he didn't want someone with children because he also said he wanted to date young women (18 to 25)...who didn't have much of a 'womanly' figure, no boobs....now we know why....(ugh, gonna be sick again) ((((((Melissa)))))) & (((((((Izzie)))))) My thoughts about this went straight to you guys and all the fun we had back then, this news puts a very dark mark on those memories.

I dont see this in the link you posted 12.14.1 states aggravated criminal sexual assault I looked up the statute which includes 'deviate' sexual conduct, which is not very specific, so I still dont really know what he did anymore than anyone else did,,,

According to two articles that at the moment I can't quote (on my cell phone right now) he has been in jail twice once for seven years for molesting three children, in 1989 and again in 2002 for five years for having thousands of pictures of young children and INFANTS being sexually assaulted and beaten, on his computer and in his home.

According to two articles that at the moment I can't quote (on my cell phone right now) he has been in jail twice once for seven years for molesting three children, in 1989 and again in 2002 for five years for having thousands of pictures of young children and INFANTS being sexually assaulted and beaten, on his computer and in his home. that is terrible do you believe there are 'types' who never change or evolve? those are terrible things from ten or more years ago it showed constraint to emphasize that he didnt want to deal with any children, I dont understand that to be the typical 'child predator' behavior. Im not defending what he did (and served time for) in the past Im only giving him SOME credit for the attempt to avoid women with children in THIS forum,,,

Yes, and today with all the tools available anyone can self publish their own book and put it up on Amazon(or other online sites that sell books).

MsHarmony, no, I don't think child molesters/predators EVER change because if they are out in society the object of there desire/temptation is always there. He may have said that he didn't want a woman with any children because the temptation would have been too strong and he would have been caught again. He joined this site shortly after his release from jail the second time (2002-07). He joined just before me if I am correct.

What is interesting is that people will say "Homosexuals didn't choose to be that way! They can't change!!!!!", but they somehow think that pedophiles can. If you can't choose / change your sexual orientation, why do you think pedophiles can? Prison for life or execution, their choice.

I joined Mingle back when it was "Justsayhi" and one of the first threads I EVER spoke in was a pirate/llama/rum thread with Eileen, Whisper, Burgandybry, Captain and "Lex." Those were some fun times.

I hear all about his posts! But the one response to a post of his I remember.it was about drugging.I could not believe his responce!He encouraged this young man on here to go for it.The more the better. Needless to saty,I let him have it over that one.He said he was wrong and sorry! I have no pitty at all for him,only cotemt!
