Being offended is a choice you make.

Destruction of property is another one.

See? People say I don't 'weigh my options'.
That I'm not 'mature enough'.

Assault - I do time.
Destruction of Property - A fine (if I'm caught)

But I didn't tell him to park on the side with no cameras.
Or meet me at a gas station where no one knows my name.

Isn't it the choices we make..
That define who we are..?

I choose to be respectful to any and everyone; as much as I can.
But cross that boundary.. well, that's whole different game.

Yeah, and? That's you. Your motto.
And I suppose there's a motto for why you shouldn't feel the 'need' to prove something, anything to anyone... ever?

Well, I didn't say "anything to anyone", but yeah, I can give you a motto for that: Only respect the opinions of people you respect. How's that for a motto?

You look the type who's always walking away..

I'm nearly 40 years old and I haven't been in a fight since high school. You know what is crazy? Sane people who have their life together don't get into fights. Crazy, right? But yeah, I only associate with people who are sane and aren't criminals and somehow I've made it over 20 years without a single fight.

I just asked if you'd be offended.

Probably not.

Not for a crap load of people to attack or assault my 'character'.

You acted like a jerk and you committed a crime, last time I checked, they don't give out medals for that.

Yes, I can be immature.
Maturity is far overrated.

You are a father. You should become more mature to give your kid(s) a good example.

Meh.. and I'm confused.
..but still, it was a funny idea. :/

let me help;
don't ask questions on public forums because these people will give their opinions on it.
and they won't shut up about it.
they'll tell you to do this or that,
because you know,
they're perfect.
it's just a lame forum.
i use it as entertainment.
most do.
some think they can 'help' others though.
i ignore these.
or piss them off.
for entertainment purposes of course.
(:

I hate that motto.
Because I am as 'God' intended.
EVERYONE deserves to be respected.
Unless you believe you are both higher than God, and higher than others?
So, no, that 'motto' can suck an egg.

You want a clap, round of applause?
Oh yeah.. 20 years without a fight.
I got my life together, doing just fine.
Thanks 'chief'.

Probably not?
Good, that was all you had to say.
Funny, talk about not fighting.. but NOW you get cojones, cause why? It's the net? Well, with your words, you'd be in one now. Cause I would've e-smacked you by now.

I acted like a jerk? lmao
Right, cause I started it..
I never knew the word, 'Sorry' and 'Excuse me' were taken as fighting words. How haven't you been in a fight? You sure you walk, cause I'm thinking you bolt.
As for committing a crime..
Sorry if it hurt you.
And don't make me laugh.. a medal? Right, cause that's what I was after.

Since you want to now bring my son into it:

My son is an A Student (like his daddy)
Star of his baseball team (like his daddy)
Only had one minor 'tiff' at school (like his daddy)

Anything else..?
I know, hard to believe? I barely got in trouble in HS. Even though i never backed down.. fighting wasn't something I had to do much of.

Where were you when I was contemplating on putting this up? :O
I don't 'need' help.
Quite happy with who, what, and you know how I am.
I didn't ask for life lessons.
Nor ask if I 'need' to grow up.
Maturity sucks.
They proved it even more.
The whole 'I'm better than you mentality'.
Is just so ugly.

:/

I know that now for future reference.

Growing up in a detestable environment can drive people to do some outlandish things. I just became more sensitive from my "Mean Girls" upbringing.

Hey, if you're OK with being defined as an overreacting hothead, so be it. It doesn't do much for any perception of maturity, though.

And of course we all know the law -- if someone says something you don't like, you're perfectly justified in ruining their stuff. Yup.

You made the choice to be offended, you made the choice to key the car. The whole thing could have been avoided had you just said to yourself, "Who cares what she thinks?" when the girl made the remark. Everything after that is on you.

Final note..

Don't take me to be more mature.

Even Einstein was still a kid at heart.
Edison once said, 'When the light bulb turned on, I felt like a little kid. I love that mentality; it helps me through all my projects.'

All the great people throughout history..
Weren't awesome because they thought themselves to be 'mature'.

Wait, let me remove the word 'All'.. before your panties twist.

Some/Most - Whichever offends your highness less.

Respect has multiple meanings. I respect (to show regard or consideration for) everyone, but respect (to hold in esteem or honor) few.

Funny, talk about not fighting.. but NOW you get cojones, cause why?

I have no idea what you are talking about. Is this about me saying you were a jerk?

It seems likely that your look and mannerisms when you said "Excuse me?" might have provoked the boyfriend. You have already admitted to a history of violence and immaturity. What cause do I have to think that you politely said "excuse me"?

How haven't you been in a fight? You sure you walk, cause I'm thinking you bolt.

Not since high school, no. No fights. No walking away. No running. I don't associate with the kinds of people who fight as adults.

..and I would have; had they just walked away.
You know, the whole time, I was actually holding the door for them, too?

Flip the perspectives too.

She made the choice to say what she did; even after I apologized.
He could of just took her inside, instead of threatening me.

Action - Reaction.

What was that? Law of Physics or something?

Let's break it down.

What you're actually doing is you're asking people here to support and validate your criminal behavior which only occurred because someone said something you didn't like.

For some of us, that's a completely untenable position.

Oooh. Look at this guy?

So you are a judge?
Apparently the jury.
And the prosecution?

Respect + God = EQUALITY

Think what you want of 'respect' by definition.
You are equal. Period.
But a snob, sorry, a coward, ack.. just not coming out right..
Eh, well just say.. 'you'...
Believe you are above such.

Yes, my friend, you are a hypocrite.
You can wear your glasses, but I still see you.

Judge, judge, judge.
Yes, you are so VERY mature yourself.

I said 'Excuse me' as a question; more out of shock than anything.

A history of violence?
Where the h*** did you get that?
Because I said 'anger' issues?

Come on, this is what you want me to be? Maturity?
You my friend, are sad.. sad sad..

I didn't say I was Hulk as a teenager.

You sound like you have a grudge against 'my type'..
Maybe we got all the girls? While you 'walked' away.

Regardless..

"Only one can judge me; because only one has the authority to do so."

So keep on walking Kermit..

Cause you are proving why maturity can suck my d***.

Anger management.
I did take those.
When I had those issues..
I wouldn't have said anything..
..I would've dropped him without a word.

I just wasn't letting some Tarzan lay claim to my jungle.

A clear admission of anger issues and violence behavior.

Provoked.

That's in the sense of being provoked.

You make it like I went out looking for it.

That firmly associates it with my 'Never back down' policy.

That shows that I have 'matured'.

Next?

The purpose of my glasses is to correct my vision, not hide me from you.

You mean all I have to do to get girls is start fights with guys 10 years younger than me and vandalize cars?!?

So keep on walking Kermit..

I didn't say 'hide' from me.

I didn't say 'presently'.

See? Still the hypocrite.

Judge, Hyprocritical, Self-Righteous.

Maturity looks so awesome.

And now you're down to three 'points'.

Letting some out huh?

Aw, maybe you should buy some more in style specs?

Immaturity - 12

Maturity - 1

Hey, figured I'd be 'considerate'.

That picture is pretty funny.
