Yes I am a woman.

Yes I won.

And so will Obama in 2012.

Get used to it.

For the good of our country, I sure hope he doesn't.

You know something, if he doesn't and some Republican wins I highly doubt if the country improves much.

In fact the country is in such sad shape right now a Republican probably does not want to win it. Then he will have to shoulder the blame for the downfall of America.

I think they (The republicans) would much rather like to blame that on the black guy.

seriously.huh

Any new guy would really have to prove himself.

To tell the truth, I don't care who it is, Republican or Democrat. We can't do much worse than him. I am fairly confident that anyone else would be an improvement.

I believe we need a genius economist that can really reduce our debt in a positive way without hurting the people's day to day lifes. Who can do such a task to really put this country in the forefront again and make our dollar strong once again??

Hmmmmmmmmmm, being that a lot of the top leadership of the Republican Party are African American, I doubt that's it. Since the Liberal's think like that they are STILL and ALWAYS HAVE BEEN the party of racists and supression. *Cough* Byrd *Cough* Byron De La Bekworth *Cough* Ross Barnett *Cough*

Why do you think "the liberals" think like that?
That was my thought alone. I don't claim to be "liberal" nor do I speak for "the liberals."

What "top" leadership of the Republican party are African American (or Black)?

And if they are "the top" leadership, then why aren't they running for President?

I think they're thinking of Kenneth Blackwell, who helped fix the 2004 elections, and wasn't good enough to win the governorship of Ohio. Also Michael Steele, who only managed to repeatedly embarrass his own party as Chairman of the GOP.

Um, what???

Are you saying the black people in the Republican party aren't good enough to be considered black???

Jimmy McMillian, Herman Cain, Colin Powell or Allen West?

Ah, yes.

Jimmy McMillan, a karate expert who has run for office 6 times and hasn't been able to get elected once.

Colin Powell, who dazzled us all with his stunning cartoon drawings of mobile biochemical labs in his presentation before the United Nations.

Allen West, who hides behind the police in order to avoid being challenged by opponents at a so-called "town-hall meeting"

Herman Cain performed well at the recent debate. I don't know anything derogatory about him

Again,

Are you saying they aren't good enough to be considered black???

McMillan ran 6 times. Doesn't that kind of say he is the top guy there??? So he lost. Don't know where he is but I would assume it is predominately Democrat if he lost six times.

Well I will believe the Republicans are serious when they support a black republican for president and take him all the way. But he would probably not get past the primary elections for president.

Why do you think that?

I just don't have a lot of faith that republicans would vote for a black man in the primary or support one for president.

This is kind of the issue. What has been created here is a paradigm shift. Look at how many people criticized Bush when he was president, and look at how many want a Republican back in office now. Did we forget already what happened when one was? Same goes for the Democrats.

The whole two party system is an illusion. It's more one big party masquerading as two. Politics anymore is as real as professional wrestling. That is to say, it isn't.

Well you know that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

People like sports.

Politics are just a different kind of sport. Choose a side and start cheering. And complaining about the other side of course.
