The JFK assassination

Thom Hartmann has done some fascinating research on that and written a book on it. It's going to be a major movie next year. It will star Leonardo De Caprio with the title Legacy of Secrecy. That's also the title of the book.

You know, I always thought it was a conspiracy and the proof was the magic bullet theory. The theory said the bullet made a turn in midair

Ran across a reality show - a real one not what passes for it as a game show - on Discovery a couple years ago. Can't remember the name of it, but they phorensicly recreated historical events to see what was possible and true.

They took a good look at how JFK and the governor were seated. They set up balistic dummies in the same positions. They recreated the injuries to both with one shot. The magic bullet wasn't very magical. laugh

The shot would have come from the book depository. It hit JFK high in the back. Went through the governor's chest (I think it was) breaking bones. Went through his right wrist and broke his wrist and ended up lodged in his thigh.

They recreated it exactly like reality except the bullet bounced off his thigh but had the right velocity to get embedded.

However the shot to JFK's head couldn't have come from behind.

But I believe they did have at least one shot from the book depository.

the book didn't dwell on the details of the assassination. It went deep into the political climateof the time involving Bobby Kennedy, the mob, Castro very far-flung scenerio. I didn't read it, but Thom shared most of his research with us on the radio. If I weren't so lazy, I would read the book.

It sounds like they want to blame it on the mob.

I watched a movie about the Rat Pack and they suggested that the mob was pretty angry at the Kennedy's but that they did not do the assassination.

I think THE COMPANY was behind it. That would involve the Catholic Church.

There were a few eliments involved in the assasination, Oswald either wasn't involved, was a patsy or didn't act alone and definately wasn't the shooter.

I think the DA of New Orleans was on to something with Dave Ferrie, Guy Bannister and Clay Shaw. Not to mention the former head of the CIA infact admitted in the 80's that Shaw and Ferrie were CIA operatives.

Not to mention there are a few photos of Ferrie and Oswald together and tons of witnesses that saw Ferrie, Bannister, Oswald and Shaw together in the months leading up to the murder.

I saw a clip on the Internet of the shooting a few years back, it was hard to see, but the theory was that the guy driving the car Kennedy was in turned and shot him...from the front. They named him by name as the person who shot Kennedy, he was a CIA agent. I don't remember the name.

I doubt that.

All of the hearing that were conducted did say there was evidence of a conspiracy. Someone had to pull back Secret Service Agents and DOD personnel from protecting the President in Dallas and it was no secret that Johnson hated Kennedy......................

i don't know, but when he was shot, kennedys head went back first, then forward, and his brains were all over the trunk... how does that happen if he was shot from the rear?

My understanding is that headshots only leave a small bullet hole as an entry wound while the exit wound exlodes all over everything. I've seen enough CSIs to know that

I saw a video of this and it sure as hell looked the driver reached back and shot him. Kennedy's wife (forgot her name) was riding in the passenger seat, I think it was an inside job and she was in on it.

I just watched a number of films, good and bad. I noticed that before Kennedy was shot in the head, he was obviously hit. Before the sign, he was waving to the crowd. After the sign, he was acting as if he had been shot and his wife was trying to see what was wrong with him. Then the other shot hit him in the head from up and in front.

He was definitely shot twice. I noticed the driver seemed to be ducking so as not to be hit himself.
