whoa Sounds like your the one with the problem with race, not Republicans.

Why do you think that?

I just don't have a lot of faith that republicans would vote for a black man in the primary or support one for president.

so? just because they are black does not mean anyone should just vote for them...remember the "best man for the job" idea?

DUH I know that. BUT he did say that some of their TOP republican leaders were black. I assume he meant TOP leaders. Not just black leaders.

No need to be a mind reader. This is what he said:

Hmmmmmmmmmm, being that a lot of the top leadership of the Republican Party are African American, I doubt that's it. Since the Liberal's think like that they are STILL and ALWAYS HAVE BEEN the party of racists and supression

I am just asking why they don't run one of those TOP leaders for president. I don't see them coming up with any other good candidates yet.

I think it would be great to see the two major parties running two black candidates against each other. laugh laugh

Jay Leno and David Letterman would have a ball with that.

Well you know that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

People like sports.

Politics are just a different kind of sport. Choose a side and start cheering. And complaining about the other side of course.

It's quite silly really though isn't it? This whole left, right, conservative, liberal thing.

It's why we are in the mess we are in. They've got us so divided, that we can't see what the real truth is even staring us in the face.

what is the real truth?

I posted a video on a new thread titled: The owners of this country. Take a look at it.

That is the truth. You may disagree with it, you may think it's crazy or whatever, but it is reality.

To a point yes, but some things are just facts. And the fact is, our government does not and never really did have our best interests in mind. Why do you think JFK was killed? It's because he was a threat to their balance of power.

The government as it stands now serves themselves, not the people.

They never said because it would expose their lie. Try and explain to me how a case can be deemed closed just days after it happens? That's what happened in the case of this.

Ok, so if that's the case and you agree with me, where am I wrong?

The JFK assassination

Thom Hartmann has done some fascinating research on that and written a book on it. It's going to be a major movie next year. It will star Leonardo De Caprio with the title Legacy of Secrecy. That's also the title of the book.

It sounds like they want to blame it on the mob.

I watched a movie about the Rat Pack and they suggested that the mob was pretty angry at the Kennedy's but that they did not do the assassination.

I think THE COMPANY was behind it. That would involve the Catholic Church.

That's what I'm asking you, I had been under the impression before you thought I was. Perhaps that's incorrect.

That's a whole other argument itself. I personally tend to believe Rome is the most powerful force in the world, and much of what goes on politically stems from it.

Are you saying the only way you would accept that Republicans in general are NOT racist is if they support a black man to be president?
