He is their "Messiah" , which definately violates one of Gods laws........ Anyone notice that the only ones who refer to Obama as the Messiah are the ones who hate him? |

Based on the 'debate' recently between some Republican 'hopefulls'. Mr. Cain. Hands down. Him and Ron Paul stood head and shoulders above the others that were there. Yeah, I watched the debate Mr. Cain did very well (not a politican). I liked Polenta and I think Ron Paul may do much better this year than in the past. People want Gov't out of there lives and go more based on the Constituion, but he also may be to liberal for most. Which people want that? The militia groups and white racists like Ron Paul? Oh maybe the tea party...lol |

I did a little reading on rascism in Texas. The impression I get is that the large, metropolitan areas tend to be race-neutral, but that many of the smaller rural communities can be as racist as Mississippi. Ron Paul represents the area south of Houston and down to the coast, including Galveston. From my reading, I gather that race is definitely an issue in this area. It could be that his failure to refute the racist rhetoric in his newsletter is an attempt to avoid getting on the bad side of a significant portion of his constituency.
Or, he may support those views, but just doesn't want to say it to the rest of the world |

Interesting, That is the same way libs talked of Bush when he was in office. "All you Repubes should all hail your messiah..." or some such drivel. Interesting to see how we bait each other to make fools of ourselves. Just shows how polarized our country is... |

And he just happened to be one of the most read Presidents in history. Because we loved his Bushisms so much. Heck we have day of the week calenders quoting his mis-speak. Do those count in his "most read" history? |

That was definitely the case before the 1950s. The transformation was remarkable. doesn't really have anything to do with Texas or Ron Paul, now does it?
