This happens because at least 50% of our population are not willing to sit and watch while people suffer and die when something can be done about it. Whats great about Mingle is there is something for everyone. There are many different threads and different topics for different tastes. ITs not just a chat room to throw out opinions in, it is organized into sections of what people might want to discuss. Some of those might require little more than sharing opinions, while others will probably involve including SOURCES as well.

for instance, in the politics thread, CURRENT EVENTS would reasonably include LINKS and FACTUAL 'evidence' of what has been happening around the world,,,it would be kind of silly to get in that thread and strictly post what one THINKS is happening,,,

but there is something for everyone and a time and place for everything, thats why I enjoy Mingle

I blame fox news. However one cant sit on the sideline even if it is comfortable and cozy. If you think about it if the regresive right goes unchallenged america will turn back to the stone age.
