a job that will discard someone for saying merry christmas is not an environment that would be a good fit for me anyhow,,,making everyone comfortable is impossible and not the bottom line Then wish me luck with my little social experiment as I'm working within a majorly Catholic corporation. Should they get complaints about the pagan greetings, I may be visiting the EEOC. May your candles burn throughout the long solstice night. And if people get offended by your well wishes, then THEY have the problem. Of course, if I have to be tolerant - don't they? |

Of course, if I have to be tolerant - don't they? You don't have to tolerate it. That is your choice. I'm saying don't tell others how they should be. What if a Pagan wishes me a Blessed Yule??? It's my choice to be offended or take it as a well wish. I won't tell others they shouldn't say it though |

I know the OP is about a Christmas tree, but it seems some people in the world only want to target Christians. There are more holidays than Christmas.
Christians aren't the only ones buying gifts. |

I love christmas, but I accept happy hannukah, or asalaama laikum just as easily(as obvious sentiments of well being, regardless of my personal faith)

I'm offended that Fanta is wearing that leotard. TAKE IT DOWN Yellow. for you on X-mas, I'd wear a Rainbow colored Bow, and nothing else.

She used to combine it with Winter Solstice too. |
