Christianity does NOT produce judgemental people. For if ANYONE judges another they are not following the word of the lord.

Matthew 7:1-3
7:1 “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. 3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?

Well, IMHO, about 99% of all the people who call themselves "Christians" couldn't care less what Jesus said. They prefer to twist his words around and instead just call everyone sinners. whoa

I imagine you call yourself a Christian, but I personally don't see you following the words of Jesus. Instead of wiping your feet and retiring like some of the other Christians have done, you prefer to constantly argue that you understand the words of Jesus better than anyone.

That's flies in the very face of what Jesus taught. So based on your own observations, then you are not following the word of your lord.

marriage is a union,, sex is a physical extension of that union,, the pleasure is an added bonus,,,not a sin

a married couple having sex is not a sin....sex is a duty to multiply but it must be done without breaking God's laws......

Eph 5:31-32 (NIV) "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh."

one flesh refers to a bond not lust

Prov 5:18-19 (Jer) ...Find joy with the wife you married in your youth... hers the breasts that ever fill you with delight, hers the love that ever holds you captive.

finding joy and delight with a spouse can be accomplished without lust ....

husbands and wives are meant to come together as one, the gospel doesnt require that they don't enjoy it or feel good,,..or delighted even

to enjoy ones spouse is not a sin...but the gospel teaches that to enjoy because of lust is clearly a sin

and we come back again,, to semantics,, and how one views lust
enjoying the act of sex with ones spouse , because they are MY spouse , would not be lust,,,they are given to me to enjoy(not just sexually, but INCLUDING sexually)

cool...let's see if it is about semantics....so MsHarmony...what are some of the other deadly sins that you will look forward to doing with your spouse or potential spouse...

let me guess...I bet you two wild and crazy kids will enjoy hours upon hours of inflicting "Wrath" upon each other

since God deem lust an abomination and you are willing to ignore that....then which other of these deadly sins are you ready to use to enrich your life

another wild assumption,, but Im not generally prone to anger or indignation,,,if and when it happens it is rare(hardly hours upon hours) and I certainly don't 'look forward' to it or find it enriching

MsHarmony... I was only giving you the benefit of the doubt....if you can have hours upon hours of lustful sex then why not hours upon hours of "Wrath" ....as you said isn't it all about semantics.....so lets look at what lustful sex is .....

when having lustful sex do the participates just remain still...or do Mr. Winky try to pound the hell out of Mrs Pinky.....which means there is violence in lustful sex....sounds like "Wrath" to me

the proper way for a christan to have sex is to have it without lust....and I will explain how that can de done......first the Man is to descend on top of the woman in what is called "The Missionary Position" which is the way to show the shame of adam and eve by attempting to hide the genitals from God as a sign of respect while simultaneously placing the tallywhacker into the forbidden fruit with both participates laying motionless until the seed is spread

lustful sex also may lead to committing other ungodly sins such as sodomy or as the bible puts it "there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matthew 8:11-12) especially if you are an inexperience sodomizer or perhaps sodomizee which gives a whole new meaning to biting from the fruit ...ou ou ouchhhhhhhhhhhhhh

this is why lust can also be "sematically" associated with another deadly sin called "gluttony" when the lust becomes insatiable ...this is why engaging in only one of the deadly sins called "Lust" can be equated to indulging in all of them which is clearly not in the grace of God

well, eating breakfast MAY lead to overeating (glutton) but I seriously dont feel guilt about eating breakfast. IF it turns to glutton,, than I have to re assess my choices. As to lustful sex, I wont assume what you feel or how you feel it and it would be nice if you try to do the same. Attraction to and enjoyment of sex WITH ONE's SPOUSE is not berated or disapproved of in the Bible.

It is not my place to judge weather it is or not. But still nevertheless it does not say it is sinful to do or not to do as such.

MsHarmony...since the line of discussion is about lustful sex ...and unless "eating breakfast" is a term that you use to describe a sexual position, then you can now understand why I refer to your analogies as being bad

Cowboy...the term you use was "doggy style" which refers to how dogs have sex....do you really need the bible to tell you that this is unchristian behavior and a sin ....does having "Free Will" means you don't have to use common sense to reason the obvious

well first off sin is going against God's will *what he has told you to or not to do* and since it doesn't refer any specific sexual positions in the bible i would have to go with no it it not a sin. That is the ONLY way something is a sin, if God has told us not to do something or have told us to do it and we do the opposite. That is the only way to sin. And again since God hasn't said it was sinful to have sex doggy style or any other specific style then it is obviously not a sin.

I hate to break it to you but God doesn't get involved in the petty affairs of humans. The Bible was written by PEOPLE. It was NOT written by GOD. Nobody has ever seen God, nobody has ever heard God speak, (including Noah, or Moses.) And anyone who claims that they have seen and heard God speak to him is lying or delusional in my opinion.

Unless God presents himself in front of a large amount of people and scientists and proves he is who he says he is or is who you say he is, all of this stuff about God's rules or what God said is a bunch of speculation.

Therefore, you are only placing your faith in the men who wrote the Bible, and hoping that they are telling you the truth. You are not placing your faith in God. You first have to place your faith in the Church and the people who claim that God wrote the Bible.

beatiality would consist of having sexual relations with animals. This would be purely for physical pleasure only nothing more. So yeah would be sinful.

God works through people. And God speaks to everyone. Most people just don't listen. That is what your conscience is. That bad feeling you get when you've done or bout to do something you know is wrong.

Yes of course I have heard that many times. But if this is true, then everything anyone has ever written is written by God. Yet there are people who claim that only the Bible was written by God (men inspired by God) and yet they don't think that other writings are God's word or inspired by God. Who are they to make that determination??

I do know right from wrong therefore God speaks to me directly in that manner. I don't need some church authority telling me his opinion, which is all it is. His opinion.

Does not matter what position Funches, if it mattered it would have been refered to in the bible. You tried to use beastiality to defend your side, and beastiality is having sex with actual animals not having sex in a manner animals do. So therefor i would say it is ok because God did not tell us otherwise.
