If I thought it was worth waiting for I'd wait. Six weeks is but a moment when you compare it to a lifetime. But for the entire month and a half I would probably act like a six year old on the night before Christmas morning.

So, what do ya'll think about a person who wants to wait for 6wks before they become physically intimate with their partner? Is it prudent...or prudish? Disclaimer: I already KNOW this topic has been done before...

However somebody feels about it is fine, though I doubt I would go for it first night if I actually wanted to date or be with her. I would rather wait... though I wont do set times and regulations/expectations for relationship, no need for labels, she can approach when ready. Its far more fulfilling being able to have stimulate and enjoy each other's mental each week, forgetting everything except the heart n soul of the person that honors me with her time. And that is why I'm single... that is this thread right?

Hmmmmm....that's what we need "rules of engagement" about intimacy in our relationships since we're all exactly alike. NOT!

6 weeks is an arbitrary number...if I was a stickler about it I would've said 6wks, 13hrs, 24mins, & 7seconds...AND it must only take place during a full moon!
The point I'm trying to make is whether or not it's wise to hop into the sack with someone before you really get to know them...6wks seems like a good time-frame for me...give or take...

Having been in a relationship where we didn't really have sex I now know how important it really is. If you're dating someone I think it's important to find out sooner than later if you are sexually compatible or not. In my case I was so into the guy I thought we could work on it or "fix" the sex issue, but that never happened and only left me that much more heart broken in the end.
