Oh yeah, that old tired argument. The Christians always start in on Albert Einstein and his theory of Special Relativity. (energy = mass times the speed of light squared). The atomic bomb would clearly illustrate this principle. Oh big deal. He had no personal role in the development of the bomb. He was a pacifist.

I only had to block people because they just wanted to talk and talk when I didn't.

And the last one was today, he asked me about 14 times within 1 hour.

What do they want to talk about? Are they trying to convert you or pick you up?

Some are this and some are that. The one this morning was all over me so only I would talk to him.

One called me a demon yesterday on a thread. Not that I was possessed, but an actual demon. They are so silly sometimes.

I have been jokingly referred to as the draconian queen herself.

Maybe that's why they don't send me threats. They are terrified.

They do send threats by email on occasion but I have never turned them in on it, nor accused any of them of bashing.

Well I have not gotten any threats. I guess they just like me best.

When you get to know me I'm a really nice person. I think when you get to know anyone you will find something very nice about them too, regardless of what they believe.

Some can't help what they believe. They have been programed that way.

The only thing that keeps people from loving each other is that they have not walked in the other person's shoes, or lived their life. In short, they don't understand.

Lack of understanding of others is simply ignorance. I think the reason we incarnate into so many different kinds of lives and situations is so that our soul can eventually learn to understand other people.

Well, there was a time when I mailed with spider on a regular base, and he wasn't a bad chap at all. It was only the discrepancy between the mails and what he would post in the forums that made me telling him to leave me alone. So you can never really tell the true side of a person.

I find that I have been able to have a fairly decent relationship with Spider, Eljay and maybe one or two others but that is because they are both highly educated and thoughtful people and they do at least listen to your opinions and try to respond respectively. The others seem to lose their tempers right away and claim bashing.

That is true. Some only seem to come into a thread to tell others that they are hypocrites and bigots, and that's all they seem to have to say. I usually call them out on anger and rudeness, but it doesn't seem to sink in. They never seem to think it's them.

I think there is something in the bible about them having to "stand up for Christianity" so thats what they feel like they are doing. Protecting the religion from the "attack" of heathens by accusing them of bashing and calling them names and using a lot of bad language and making wild accusations.

But they never seem to read the part where Jesus rebukes the man who prays: Thank you Lord that I'm better than they are.
I can't for my life remember in which book it was, nor can I remember the wording for googling it. It's something I want to rub in big time.

No there is nothing in the bible about standing up for the faith. It is only commanded that they spread the news and not deny christ. In fact jesus told his disciples that if their news was not well received they should "shake the dust from their sandals" and move on without looking back.

A lot of people who claim to be Christians have no clue what the Bible actually says. All they know are the superstitious rumors that they've been taught.

There's no doubt in my mind that Jesus would never condone what people do in his name. I'm absolutely confident that he would denounce the entire religion that uses his name.

I don't believe that he was the sacrificial lamb of any mythological God, and I don't believe he ever claimed to be.

As far as I can see, he was basically trying to teach Buddhism to a bunch of idiots and after they nailed him to a pole they then went on to use his martyr status to prop up the very things that he preached again.

Anyone who can't see that a modern day witch has absolutely nothing to do with the false biblical rumors of an ancient bigoted mythology isn't worth talking to, much less getting upset over.

People believe like that are probably stupid enough to believe that during the burning times actual "Witches" were being burned.

The fact that there are still people around today who are that stupid is truly depressing.
