Wow. That was the best massage I have EVER gotten. I haven't gotten a massage in over 2 years so I just looked in the phone book to find someone. Not only did I find the perfect masseuse, but I found the yoga dvd I have been looking for for a year. It was my favorite and got lost in the divorce. You can't find it anywhere now. The masseuse said that dvd has been sitting on their shelf for sale for as long as she can remember.
I'm in a total zen place right now. |

I saw an ad for a masseuse at the drug store this week and took the phone number considering a massage myself. I think I will give it a try. |

I've been thinking about going to a chiropractor.
I've only been to one once or twice in my entire life, but I remember that after having gone to one I really felt loosed up. He 'cracks' the major joints in your spine to realign things. I forget why I originally went, I think I was having neck pain, or back pain. All I remember is that after he went over my spine I felt significally better and it had a serious affect on me for about an entire week. The reason I'm thinking about going now is simply because I'm working on my chakras, and a major realignment fo the spine might be a signigicant help right now. Although, I'm not really having any pain or limited movements, so it would be like a 'normal adjustment'. I must confess though that I'm always afraid that they'll break something. They yank and poke at the spine pretty fiercly. Maybe I should just stick with the yoga exercises? |

Deep tissue massage is pretty violent also. I had that done thinking it would be a pleasant experience and it was but not easy, thats for sure. At least not until I could loosen up a bit.

That's why I always tell them I want soft-medium pressure. I don't care to pay money for a torture session. And, I want to feel relaxed when it's over. I have had massages where I was in physical pain when it was over. Now, I make it very clear up front.

Yeah I had a male masseuse and he was a little bit rough although Im sure the women can be just as bad. Men have really large, strong hands though. It felt like he was going to rip out my scapulae.
