I've learned -
That you shouldn't compare yourself to the best others can do.

I've learned -
That you can do something in an instant
That will give you heartache for life.

I've learned -
That it's taking me a long time
To become the person I want to be.

I've learned -
That you can keep going
Long after you can't.

I've never heard of someone having class when they wear ripped jeans. I've never heard of someone wearing jeans and having class.

Behavior is a small fraction I think even though the dictionary says and behavior.
I'm so sorry to hear that you've been hanging around all the wrong people. If your friends have to put a suit and tie on to remind themselves how to behave and treat others, then they have only been trained how to "act" like they have class.

I've known many people in my life, who lived monogrammed lives but that don't exude the weakest link of anything close to class. I have also known people that somehow, while living in torn jeans, display outstanding life etiquette on a daily basis as natural as instinct itself.

Being born into a "class", does not guarantee a person will inherit CLASS. It's like dressing for dinner...it doesn't make you nice, it simply makes you look nice. Nice comes from within, as does Class. flowerforyou

I've learned to accept myself for who I'm.

I've learned that laughter is a need.

I've learned that life may not always be what you want but to enjoy what you have.

I've learned that a child’s love is like no other.

And last but not least.............

I've learned that within this site is many caring and loving hearts and I’m proud to call each and everyone here a friend.

I've learned -
That we are responsible for what we do,
No matter how we feel.

I've learned -
That either you control your attitude
Or it controls you.

I've learned -
That my best friend and I can do anything
Or nothing and have the best time.

I've learned -
That heroes are the people
Who do what has to be done
when it needs to be done
Regardless of the Consequences.

That some of the best people on this planet have furniture that doesn't match, cars that don't always run, and doors that are always open to company.

I've learned -
That your family won't always be there for you. It may seem funny, but people you aren't related to can take care of you and love you and teach you to trust people again.
Families aren't always biological.

I have learned that sometimes words are cheap and have no meaning behind them.....it is the actions that mean everything.

I have learned that people I have only conversed with over the computer can have more compassion than those I have spent years working next to, five days a week, eight and ten hours a day.

oh and I know this is off topic but squonk, you say you have never met someone who wears jeans who has class.......

**Life has taken me in many different directions lately, at times not really knowing exactly where it is I am going,
Yet I believe ****************
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I need to be.

I've learned that one can not live for his ego

I've learned that My children are stronger than I thought

I've learned that through sickness come enlightment, and maybe some scars need to be seen

I've learned that Life is awesome and living in the moment can be zippittyyyyy dodaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa fantastic

I've learned that I am still learning

I've learned that my imperfections are perfect for me

I've learned how to love me again,,, now that was enlighting

It's got nothing to do with friends, it has everything to do with family. My friends don't come from the upper echelon, my family does.

Sitting down to dinner with the governor... I don't see how a governor compares to to a billionaire. I mean they're elected officials and do impose laws on citizens and are in the spotlight and possibly national spotlight but I'm not so positive that every governor has class. I don't think of them as upper echelon. They have power to some degree but not enough and certainly not as much as someone who works outside of the us gov't. They might live in a nice house but it's by no means king like.

Hmmmmmmmm me thinks one day, when the money is gone and its just "you" in the real world, you may come across a few people with real "class".

You know, those people who are THERE for YOU when the ones with money turn their back on you.
