Wow I'm catholic so I do believe in god but these reasons behind it are horribly wrong. Like the second one just cause you can concieve of something deosn't make it true I can concieve of the easter bunny but it's not real. Almost all the reasons have logical flaws. Like the third one only god can make things complex, have you even thought of cell phones or microwaves or 100 other things that are complex man has made. If you want to convince people god exists don't use such lame examples.

Why would you say it's a joke?

Clearly as funny as it is its still true.

Any logical arguments for the existence of a God truly are lame.

One thing that religious people need to understand is that a believe in any spirituality is just that, a belief. It is based on pure faith and nothing more.

I'm a very spiritual person myself. None the less I'm fully aware that my spirituality is entirely faith-based.

What's wrong with admitting the TRUTH? huh

The problem with so many religious people is that they are out to convince other people that their faith-based beliefs are true.

That's just downright ignorant and truly offensive.

I believe in the Moon Goddess and the Sun God, but hey if you don't want to believe in these things don't.

It's your loss not mine. bigsmile

I don't care what you believe. And I would appreaciate the same consideration in return.

People who proselytize their own personal faith-based beliefs are the ones who should be tossed into the comedy forum. Or better yet, an insane asylum. laugh

My personal irritation comes when a person attempts to build a "scientific argument" around a faith based one. You should not even be arguing your faith based beliefs because thats all they are!

That is just not going to work. happy
