No wonder the world calls us selfish. American poverty is self-inflicted by lazy, slothful people who want a hand-out. As a single mother of three children, deceased ex-husband who left no life insurance, who has from time to time gone jobless...one of the poorest factions in America...I am testimony to the fact that not making it in America means you're not trying at all. Pretty soon we'll have fires in the streets like in France. The people in other countries, especially Africa and the Middle East, have it sooo much worse than we do, but all we know how to do is complain about how we don't get enough hand-delivered to our doorstep... Makes me sick to my stomach to think about it. This guy was trying to say something nice that was happening because of Bush and you guys are so warped in the head and biased that you have to attack even something good. At least Republicans did see some good in Clinton, like welfare reform. At least they want Obama to succeed. (That's not directed at Templt, or any of the last pages' post. I just didn't want to call anyone out and quote them. They know who they are.) |

The war in Afghanistan is going badly for us so those girls won't be going to school long.Better to bring them here for education and then send them back to help improve their country. No, it's going quite well. Their fate is in Obama's hands, I hope he doesn't take his responsibility lightly.  Obama is the Chosen One. He is the Light Bringer and he will save the world.

They douse them with acid, beat them and shoot them. But still two million families are willing to take that risk to better their daughter's lives.  WHAT in the name of GOD does this have to do with PRESIDENT George W. Bush's legacy?  W's legacy to me will be one of a man who stood up and proclaimed his faith in Jesus Christ to the whole world, a man who got a ban on Partial Birth Abortion, a man who did all he could to help Africa with the treatment and attempt to stop the Aids epidemic (OH EXCUSE ME, HE JUST RECEIVED AN AWARD FOR HIS EXTENSIVE aid to AFRICA for this), a man who cut our taxes, a man who loves our military and our military loves him, unlike the Clinton years. A man of courage and endurance, who stood the line and did not waiver. I PRAISE GOD FOR PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH AND FIRST LADY LAURA BUSH..... LINDYY  |

Bush's legacy in terms of the HIV epidemic in Africa is obscene.
His opposition to the distribution of condoms caused even more people to be infected. Lowering your taxes? Putting this country even deeper in debt to China. Gee that's a swell legacy too. Socializing the banking industry. Another gold star for Shrub. Starting a war based on lies that has killed thousands? It would be swell to see him chat with God about that one day. His legacy leaves destruction in his wake, disrespect for the American people and the people of the world, the largest economic crisis since the Great Depression, and that's just for starts. |
