then i'll have to leave it to others, in my readings of preterist views which make way more sense than scofields mooy's and darbys lies, all that was spoken of in revelations and by the prophets was fullfilled in AD 70, the church of christ reigns on earth now, there is no armeggedon - never was, in the fundie sense, the last judgement, [if it occurs at all] is thousands of years off, and i'm not concerened with it.

The only thing the church has to look forward to is is leading a christlike life here and now and then death and heaven acoording to my beliefs, there are no xtra goodies waiting for anyone.

THat said - i do think there maybe other scenarios where there is potential for the earth not lasting that long brought about by natural disaters, but they have nothing to do with god or the book.

yahweh was used to get rid of the roman and pagan gods ..Jesus and Buddha was used to get rid of Yahweh ..and Buddha and scientology will be used to get rid of Jesus

"Krimsa" ...there may be an alien entity that has read the Bible and decided that it will play like it is God

and "MartyMark" is require to follow the first alien enitity that claims to be God ..

the alien entity may or may not in fact be God but that doesn't make a different because believers are not permitted to doubt that the alien entity is not God if that entity claims to be God ...because for all they know the alien entity may be God

which means that "MartyMark" and others can ask the alien entity questions that one may ask to God as long as the believer believes that the alien entity is God

Plus, if the "alien god" has a dollar for miscellaneous baby teeth, then he is real enough.

Humans fear death. If you can provide them with the hope of eternal life (no matter how irrational) they will cling, thus the lint fairy will suffice.
