Someone down the street from me put up a huge sign saying, 'For the love of god, vote life' and drew a picture of a limbless baby all bloody. Now, for some reason people who are pro life think that the people who are pro choice want everyone to die, it's not like that, lol. If it looks offensive and bad for children to see, there are zoning laws and people to call to have it removed. |

BTW, whats up with the conservatives calling pro-choicers pro-abortion? That really pisses me off.  I dislike the term "prolife" especally when most who call themselve "prolife" are for the death penalty & the war in Iraq. That's not "prolife" its "anti abortion". I completely agree with you. |

I'm sorry, but this is just not about a "woman's right to choose". If the man is still involved with the woman, then he has as much say as the woman as to what happens. It might be her body, but that baby is his, and she has no right to terminate the baby on her own. If he is involved, he deserves a say in the matter. Just my opinion.

I am pro life & anti abortion personally, but believe you cannot force someone to have a baby & it's better to allow them the option of ending the pregnancy safely & legally.

I would agree whether the man is still involved with the woman or not. This is a case of no good choice. You have to choose the lessor evil. 1st I would know the man's opinion BEFORE it was an issue. If he didn't want a child then I would not tell him about it , & that would save him the emotional drama. That may not be RIGHT but in an already wrong situation I think it's best.
If he did want a child he would be involved in all decisions. |

I wouldn't ever have one, but I am Pro-Choice. I don't think abortion should be used as a method of birth control. I think every woman should have the choice to do what they want though.

One requirement is that medical, emotional and spiritual counseling be provided pre and post procedure. Know a number of clinics that have similar protocols. |

Liberals ALWAYS take the most extreme case..rape...when they know thety've been beaten...I just wish could ask God his opinion...I wonder what his answer would be...it's become another form of birth control...and thats WRONG ! Extreme case? I know a 12 year old girl. Her step-dad raped her. He got 30 yrs. My cousin's 20 yr. old daughter was date raped. I had a friend in college that was rape. I was almost raped. |

Take a deep breath everyone. This topic always gets heated.
There are SO many circumstances that can be involved and so many reasons for the choice of abortion...and Government and fanatics should leave that up to the individual. The doctors have their questions that they ask the individual, couple...whatever the case may be. That being said...NO ONE outside of the circumstance should have the right to decide according to the circumstance. The woman will have thought long and hard about the decision and she should be allowed to her personal health decisions without having to worry about mandated goernmental intervention. |

My teenage boy said that if RvWade gets repealed it won't end abortion...just make it illegal, expensive and dangerous. Kinda like most of history...

It is difficult to separate this issue from one's belief system. It also cannot help from raising medical questions regarding the physical well being of the mother as well as emotional and spiritual concerns.
Bottom line, who has a right to make these decisions for another? Where is this line drawn? Not only on this issue but on others as well. |
