That is what I thought and I had to stop and think about it and be honest with myself about what I believe at this point. In conversations with Feralcat and Wouldee, I discovered clearly what my agenda is.

There are other reasons for posting, but bottom line, I think the New Testament is a bald faced lie. The Bible itself, just a bunch of stories.

I believe other things too, but it is not my agenda to get anyone to accept my beliefs, because they are only temporary conclusions awaiting any new evidence. Mostly speculation.

When you discover your true agenda, I would be interested in hearing it. Or do you just like to debate?

I enjoy debate. Im sure most of us do otherwise we would not be here. Personally I could not care less what anyone chooses to believe or place faith in provided they do not hurt anyone around them, nor themselves, have at it. I see no reason not to discuss these issues as long as it can stay in a debate format that does not attack anyone on a personal level. In other words, positions are fair game, people are not.

I have discovered that debating Bible inconsistencies is a waste of time because I have no problem with them. The reason I have no problem with them is that I don't consider for one second that the Bible is the "word of God." To debate inconsistencies just seems unproductive.

If people want to believe the Bible they will believe it until they decide it no longer serves them.

You wrote that scientists don't whine when creationists discredit their work. This is all Abra does. Every time a creationist makes a claim about evolution - or missing links he goes on a tirade. So - I guess my point is that maybe SOME scientists don't go on tirades. You are going to be hard pressed to try and convince anyone here that Abra does not.

Science loves to prove science wrong. I think the thing to understand here is that science really doesn't have anything to say about the supernatural . . . thats by definition. Its becuase science is a natural endeavor. It is understanding nature. It can never speak on the supernatural, and thus TRUE science doesn't even acknowledge a supernatural, and thus would have nothing to tirade about.

The fact of the matter is that that what I do is point out misinformation. And in many cases outright lies.

Moreover, I don't represent or speak for the scientific community. They have their own spokespersons.

I just try to educate people to the facts as best I can. You call that 'whining' but that is so typical of people who are trying to proselytize a religion. Just call any opposition to the proselytizing "whining".

That's proselyter's greatest weapon. They try to discredit the opposition because they know full-well that they can't defend the issues head-on.

Non-Christians address the issues directly. What do the Christians do? They try to discredit the individual directly because they know they don't have a prayer in the world of addressing the actual topics head on. So they think that if they discredit the opposition by claiming that the person is just 'whining' they think that strenghtens their position.

But it does not. It's just shows how low they stoop.

Look at Wouldee. He's gone totally berzerk on a vendetta of character assassinations. He never speaks to issues at all. All he ever does is attempt character assassinations. It's crystal clear that he knows that his position is untenable. He can't defend it so he throws stones at the opposition.

I personally feel that anyone who can't defend their own beliefs using sound reasoning needs to seriously ask themsleves why they even believe it.

But they refuse to consider that question. Instead they go on the offensive of trying to assassinate the characters of those who try to help them think. They veiw them as their 'enemy'. And especially as the 'enemy' of their God.

But God has no enemies. That's a fallacy right there.

It's pretty said when they view decent honest loving people as being 'sinners' and enemies of God.

If it were up to Christians the most loving decent people in the world would be cast into the pits of hell.

They don't care about things like love. All they care about is ramming their religion down the throats of others at all cost. That's their only single-minded agenda. It's seriously sad.
