Yep.....met my fiance here and are trying to get my transfer to move to Idaho to be with him. We have been together for over a year, so LDR's do work if you really want it too.

Good for you and all the rest of you who have been blessed. I met someone right off the bat and he said he was falling in love with me, even took me home to meet his family, in antoher state and proceeded to plan the next 10 months of our lives together. 60 days later he couldn't be "exclusive" but wanted a "relationship".Ouch!!! I have more or less given up but did learn to pay attention to tag lines when I do go forth and explore. If it says "looking for woman FOR DATING" believe it.

I haven't met anyone yet but it's been under a month since I joined. I was thinking though, if the people on here that are looking for one night stands could state that on their page, it would make things a whole lot easier for the rest of us .

"Bad" experience # 2... Messaged someone I thought was cute... seemed to have a ton of stuff in common. Not just a ton of stuff, everything in common... we started messaging each other here, then shard phone numbers... I honestly thought this was going to be the ONE. One day I wake up thinking about nothing but her... it was nice to ever so briefly feel so close to someone even in my thoughts (as we never got a chance to meet in person). It was real warm and fuzzy... Until... Then (the same day) she starts telling me of her daughter the (supposedly now sober) heroin addict that she still lives with. etc., etc... WTF?? Where did THAT come from? Later the same day she goes on and on in a tirade about these weirdos at school... then turns her rant toward me... NOT... I didn't deserve that treatment. Click... that was enough WEIRD for me... hung up the phone and never looked back. Told her not to call me back... and that was that. Then she accuses me of trying to steal her identity... (WTF????)... no idea where that came from, either... that was just so completely off the wall and out there on planet 7 some where... just damn... Are there any NORMAL women out there? Somebody that doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, isn't over-weight, cares about herself... doesn't have children with heroin addictions... LOL... What the hell is wrong with the world, anyways? Too much Nintendo and X-Box or what? I have long since given up hope, but you never know... TM

still new to this site. I have not met anyone yet so to speak but it IS more relaxed and casual than other dating sites.
