nope i was out there, now i'm not anymore. But a few of my fellow sailors are still out there..I don't see any attack on innocent civilians. Some things that suck though are not knowing what to do when...I mean they train children over there to hold weapons and that is ok to shoot at us....What do you do when your on the other end of that? I haven't personally experienced that but a few of my friends have....

That can be pretty rough decision. Really wouldn't know what to do their. They are not innocent civilians if they are firing at you, but they are still kids.

Guys, i'm pretty sure he's joking. There is no possible way someone can be that thickheaded. I finally get the joke now.

And BTW Chazter No, we did not target anyone taht did not pose a threat. More often than not we risked our own lives if we weren't sure. There were a few misunderstandings. Well, two with us. There are many rules that are put in place to make sure accidents don't happen. Almost all the civilian casualties are caused by the insurgents.

The discussion of American soldiers killin innocent unarmed civilians keeps being brought up. So I'm gonna put my 2 cents in, maybe all it's worth but none the less.
What about the innocent unarmed American civilians that perished on December 7, 1941?
What about the thousand of unarmed American civilians that perished on September 11, 2001?
What about the innocent unarmed American civilians that have been taken hostage around the globe over the years?
Stop complainin about what is so wrong with this country and focus on the good. Or get off ur behinds and make some changes. Pessimism breeds misery.

Attacking the poorest , the weakest , and those who can not defend themselves makes America looks a real MONSTER in the eyes of any peace loving person .

I'm not sayin that 2 wrongs make a right. I'm only making the point that America too has lost our share of innocent unarmed civilians.
I keep gettin the impression that u look at all those that serve in the military as war mongers out for blood. I'm sure if u asked the majority of the people who have served or are currently serving in the military, they would rather help than kill. I didn't join the military cause I wanted to shoot people. I joined because I wanted to give back for the rights and freedoms I have in this country. And now my 19 yr old son is doin the same. I couldn't be prouder of him for it.

AHHHH NO I actually joined the Air Force for freedom and all this crap as u so eloquently put it. I had a full ride to school but choose to go a different way. Weird that I would give up a paid college education for doin my part for this great country of ours huh? Go figure. I guess some of us have more feelings of responsibility than others.
