No one joins the army for freedom and liberty . He or she joins the armed forces for their pockets . There are some senators and congressmen who said the blacks are denied jobs on purpose to be forced to join the army .....ahhhhhhh!. The truth hurts .

Are u aware that there are 5 branches of the military not just the Army??? Secondly, I'm not black. Were these senators and congressmen ur quotin black? Race has nothing to do with this anyway. Ur tryin to tell me my reasons for joinin the military when u don't even know me. I was not forced in anyway to go speak to an Air Force recruiter. I did it completely on my own. I was a grown young woman with a mind of my own. No one held a gun to my head when I took the oath to defend and possibly give my life for this country. Have u been in the military? DId u grow up with military parents? Have u had any kind of experience with the military at all? Or are u goin by what u've read? Have u ever heard the expression don't believe everything u read in the papers????

When crazy men like Bush , Cheney , Rumesfeld , Wolfowitz and the rest of the gang come up with an injust war , any just human being must says no. A man or a woman should have a conscience and not be like a robot : just programmed and pushed to action . So we have robots supported by robots and making them heros by killing those who can not defend themselves , the weakest and the poorest of the globe . SHAME is not an enough word . |

The discussion of American soldiers killin innocent unarmed civilians keeps being brought up. So I'm gonna put my 2 cents in, maybe all it's worth but none the less. What about the innocent unarmed American civilians that perished on December 7, 1941? What about the thousand of unarmed American civilians that perished on September 11, 2001? What about the innocent unarmed American civilians that have been taken hostage around the globe over the years? Stop complainin about what is so wrong with this country and focus on the good. Or get off ur behinds and make some changes. Pessimism breeds misery. A murderer by any name is a murderer . Two wrong do not make one right . The lies of the media and the administration make it hard for people to see the reality . 911 ...?. What about all the convincing conspiracy theories ?. Attacking the poorest , the weakest , and those who can not defend themselves makes America looks a real MONSTER in the eyes of any peace loving person . Convincing conspiracy theories? I'm not sayin that 2 wrongs make a right. I'm only making the point that America too has lost our share of innocent unarmed civilians. I keep gettin the impression that u look at all those that serve in the military as war mongers out for blood. I'm sure if u asked the majority of the people who have served or are currently serving in the military, they would rather help than kill. I didn't join the military cause I wanted to shoot people. I joined because I wanted to give back for the rights and freedoms I have in this country. And now my 19 yr old son is doin the same. I couldn't be prouder of him for it. U don't like this country, there's a border south of u and there's a border north of u. Pack up and go.  You do not join the army for freedom and all this crap : you join the army for your pocket . When the losers need a job or money or benefits , they join the army .Who is kidding whom here ?. A loser by any name is a LOSER . Well you can thank a "loser" for your freedom and independence. First and foremost we need defense. Freedom is not a birthright. It's something blood is shed for. There is both good and bad to every conflict. Like the bible said, there is a time to be born and a time to die, a time to KILL, and a time to heal. Maybe you are a coward, who hides behind a twisted morality. Maybe you would only do something for others if there was enough money involved. I don't really know. But I am pretty sure it's appearent to everyone here who the real loser is...
