If someone kills innocent men , innocent women and innocent children , what do we call him or her ?. A saint ?. If you kill innocent ones , you are a MURDERER .

So where do soldiers fall along these lines? just because there are a select few who are why does that make the majority responsible. By this logic you could call all blacks thieves, all mexicans illegal immigrants, and all whites murderers. It's called oversimplification. A VERY LARGE critical thinking error. There aren't any more soldiers that are murderers than there are civilian murderers in your home state. When you kill someone that is trying to kill you it's not murder.

Kinda funny how our reason for being there is more appearent to those on the front line. Believe it or not there are those who are fighting to give the Iraqis a better future. We are preventing them from killing eachother off, so in fact we are saving lives. They target eachother, not so much Americans. The only problem is that those Iraqis may not be capable of freedom. We may be trying to force a lifestyle that they themselves cannot abide by. The politics in Middle Eastern countries is very irrational. But, nonetheless, a soldier can't just refuse to obey an order because he doesn't want to. It's not his or her job. Blame the politicians, not the soldiers. The soldiers are busting their ass for something they believe in.

There is not one single American soldier who is working to make Iraqis lives better . Those who started the war against the people of Iraq are the enemies and not the friends of the people of Iraq . When someone kills your family , friends and take all your belongings , he is no friend .

You have been misinformed my friend.... but i forgive you. Too bad you believe the television over people's personal experiences. It's just sad that people canbe manipulated so easily.

I can't count how many times i have helped the Iraqi civilians out after they got attacked by other Iraqis. Most of the casualties over there are the result of insurgents. In fact one of the three men in my unit that died, died when he was helping a wounded woman (who was injured from a roadside bomb. She was lying next to a bus, and when the officer went to help her a suicide bomber stepped onto the bus and blew it up, killing 40 more civilians along with our Lieutenant. I can't begin to describe how gruesome the scene was. Why don't you try telling his wife that he was a murderer? I will forgive your ignorance, but i doubt she will.

You do realize sam just called American Soldiers Murders dont you?

Supporting the soldiers does not mean that we have to buy into any of the garbage about the war being just, being "for the Iraqis" (lie), or any other hype about the war. The war was a personal agenda "military action".

Our military does what they are told and if they have to believe they are doing something good in order to continue their jobs, then so be it. But this war was illegal and has not ever been for the benefit of the Iraqis.

My opinion of course.

Warriors are supposed to kill the enemy so they are not considered murderers although the side that loses usually is tried for War Crimes which never made sense to me.

Most soldiers would disagree with you dragon. They certainly aren't fighting for oil, or anything of that sort. Right now, the fight is for the Iraqi's so they can stand on two legs. I don't care what reason our politicians have for sending us there. Right now it's irrelevant. It's not their war, it's the soldeirs' now. Most of them believe what they are doing is actually making a difference. Although, they are the only ones who didn't get their views from newspapers and television...
