You're welcome Roy, buying a house is a real pain. It tooks months for mine to go through, they kept coming up with stuff, a 2nd appraisal, etc., but not all banks are the same. But depending on the value of the home, I would think it would be pretty good since it has land attached, I would suspect they could work out a "gift equity" type thing for your mom to gift you the down payment and maybe even enough to cover the fees, who knows, but she would still get the rest of the money from the sale, would cost her some money that she is allowing you for the deposit, but in the long run, she is not really losing much and the house stays in your family, etc. But do shop around for the best interest rate, etc. Glad I could help. Had never heard of this before my banker told me about it. Basically all creative bookkeeping, but whatever works to get it done you know. Take care. Well, the next thing to do since I got the form back from USDA/ Rural Development for the loan and have filled it out is to get it in the mail. So I am going to the Post Office and get a stamped envelope to get it sent. Long live the paper chase.

Roy - the paper chase is right, wow, think I grew a few gray hairs over the whole process, seemed like something new kept coming up, they kept pushing back the signing because something was forgotten, etc. Hopefully you won't have that issue. Good luck.

The guy's wife called my phone yesterday morning........threatened to come kick my ass......then i got a im from her on yahoo last night............turns out SHE KNEW he went on a date with me........he was looking for a playmate for his wife since she's bi.........he thought the world of me, but knew his wife wouldn't like me at all.......
Does anyone see that marriage lasting more than about five years? |

Personally, I would stay away from that type of relationship and I will never be able to see the child that came of it.
 But the lawyer told me she went to a good home with loving parents. She was born May 3, 1983. May 3 is significant to me because my wife died May 3, 2005; Not the same mother. To each their own but the menage trois never worked for me.

Yeah, It is not really all the fun that one might think it could be. Atleast from my experience. Talk about confusing, gees.
It is hard enough to please one's self. Then to try to please another can become difficult. But then three. Ha ha. Might as well just have a pet and be done with it.
