I've never heard of that Lake. We go to Wyalusing beach alot during the summer. It's a branch of water off the Mississippi and Wisonsin River. Actually, the Wisconsin river has taken more lives around these parts then the Miss. R.  Wisconsin runs just south of Prairie here.
If you mapquest Prairie du Chien, you'll get a better idea of where I am sweetie. Sorry for chatting in threads everyone

welcome...anywhere near Argyle or Monroe ? Funny you should ask...LOL My 1st cat was named after Argyle WI, as was my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of the kids', that looked exactly like my 1st cat...lol Psst, they all passed away now  And I'm NOT having a 5th...hehe!
No, I'm not right now. I'm on the Mississippi River banks, Prairie du Chien...I'm probably about 2 hrs from Monroe/Argyle. I'm in southwest WI..I'm 1 hour south of La Crosse, and 2 hrs west of Madison. I could actually skip a stone across the river over to Marquette, IA I'm sooo close to the river!! We used to live in Gratiot though. Tiny little town, that if you blinked, you'd miss it driving to Monroe...damn! and to think that was my maiden name and I can't spell it or type it anymore...

I'll be heading south in January, but only as far as Nashville, TN area. Going to grandson's 1st birthday and baptism. New Orleans is a tad far for me to drive..Meet ya half way...

Hello All from cold, snowy, southwest WI.
I'm new to this site, but not new to the online dating communities.
