Being a single parent is tough but rewarding. It doesnt matter if your a
woman or a man you still face all the same questions, fears and
problems.
I admire any person who sticks it out stands by their children and does
the best they can with what they are given. My two older kids are out on
their own now. My daughter is going to college to be a Dr. and my older
son is in the US Air Force.
I couldn't be more proud of us all.We were thrown into a tough
assignment and we all kept on doing what had to be done. There were
sacrifices on everyones part-but the love is so strong I wouldnt trade
one bit of any of it.My youngest son is going to be 16 this April and he
is now the man of the house and he looks after his momma and I know he
will be a fine man.
I feel sorry for the parent who walks away. Who never gets to have the
honor to know what kind of person these kids are or share in their
victories or cry with them over their losses.
It is that parent who has lost out on a wonderful experience to watch
that child grow into a fine adult. I am a better person for having had
my children in my life. Bravo to all you single parents male and
female.... You should be proud.

Its sad to say but there are "damaged ppl" running around damagin other
ppl.That makes it hard for regular caring ppl to find anyone who's not
skiddish about relationships.
We'are all afraid of getting hurt and laying our hearts completely out
there.
Once we overcome that fear love is the most beautiful thing in the
world.Just hang in there- there is someone perfect out there for you.
Dont give up...Ususally when you think you've reached your limit-thats
when love pounces on ya outta no where.

can truly relate to. No one should have to go thru that but....

But all that echoed in her head
Were daddys furious screams

Felt like she was in the jaws of death

The nicest thing ever done for me was the guy wrote a song and played
the guitar and sang for me. I'd only met him once at a friends house.

The worst thing was a guy threw me out of a moving car on a dark dirt
road because he took me there after I had already asked him to take me
home. Needless to say The next time I saw him I knocked him on his a**.

The funniest thing was I was at a picnic and This guy I really had a
crush on was there. He sat down across from me as I was about to bite my
corn on the cob and started talking to me. When I bit into the corn a
piece squirted out and landed right smack dab in the middle of his
forhead -and stuck there. We laughed til we cried. I was so embarrased
but he was a good sport and had a great sence of humor.I never look at
corn now without giggling.LOL

What started as a little fib
Seemed to grow and grow
Becoming unrecognizeable
Into something he did not know
It reared its ugly head one day
And became a full blown lie
Hurting feelings of those he loved
And causing them to cry.
The trust was gone, must be rebuilt
Why did he feel that need
To hide something oh so small
Causing everyone such grief.

Lies are ugly, lies are cruel
They do nothing but destroy
Making full grown men run and hide
In fear like little boys.
The truth can really suck sometimes
Its awful hard to face
But trust is something when lost
Is so hard to replace.
So deal with it, spit it out
Take it like a man
The price you pay for the lie
Is higher that you understand.

It will come back to bite you
The truth comes out in the end
Then you still have to face the truth
AND the lie you told to friends.
So swallow hard, take a deep breath
you feel better it is true
Just remember how bad you'd feel
If a friend would lie to you.
