Definatly lets people know who you are...as for getting dates? I've been here a year and have had two dates with a fantastic lady, as well as planning on another this weekend with her...no different than dating in real life only it doesn't happen as quickly, the same things still need to remain intact for it to work out though. You had forum dates well thats good to know. I hope people will get to know me because Its hard to put everything in my profile. I am familiar with many of you forum people because I have been reading the forums for 3 months, not just here but on other dating sites. I picked this dating site because the forums seem like one of the best. There was one other good forum but I didnt like the profile set up.

I'm new and I was wondering if forum posting is mostly just for fun or if you think it really helps in meeting guys or girls? Do forum posting people really meet up with other forum posting people?
