Do forum posting people really meet up with other forum posting people? 1) Yes. It helps. It allows people to get to know how you think and how well you present yourself. 2) Yes. It is sometimes just for fun. 3) Some people have, indeed, met up. Good luck.

As you know...there are never any guarantees with dating sites.
But posting in the forums here can't really hurt anything..unless of course you are a complete a*shole....lmao THEN it could be bad cuz the vultures will start circling. ;-) Just a couple of hints.. 1) Just be friendly 2) Type out complete words and sentences. txt msg styl duznt wrk wel hre. Definatly lets people know who you are...as for getting dates? I've been here a year and have had two dates with a fantastic lady, as well as planning on another this weekend with her...no different than dating in real life only it doesn't happen as quickly, the same things still need to remain intact for it to work out though.
