Just watched Season 1 disc 3 of Boardwalk Empire.
Man...I just can't get over the production value on this show. From the costumes, to the set design, the music, the cars, just everything about it. Plus, I'm a huge fan of almost everything about that era. Not to mention the acting, cinematagrophy, writing, directing, etc... Just too good. |

Do you stay in shape? If so, how? What is your favorite or easiest way? Favorite & easiest way? Simple. I don't drink alcohol. I'm not joking. I lost about 30-40 pounds JUST from not drinking. Didn't change my diet or anything. Oh...and being active at work helps. I know that if I'm on vacation, that I tend to gain a little weight. |

Burial Ground is one of the most oddball funny zombie flicks I've seen. I know it wasn't supposed to be, but...the whole oedipus thing goin on with the kid that looked like he was a grown man. Just too weird. But funny.

....that drive a man crazy: 1. Game-playing/manufacturing drama. (I'm tired of dudes saying its always us. When you bring your exes into the picture I'd say that treads the line to drama. Just one example.) 2. Expecting the man to pay for everything. (I always offer if I can, especially if its past the first few dates) 3. “Wanting to know ‘where the relationship is going’ before he’s ready to say, or before he knows himself” (Most men haven't a clue what they want anyway. They'll never admit it unless we finally make a decision.) 4. Being controlling. (Men are super controlling when they never call.) 5. I found that if I happen to read the book first, I get my own image & idea of how it's supposed to look on screen. This usually ends up jading the film.
If I watch the film first, then go back & read the book, it's usually a disappointment since someone ELSE'S image of how the book was supposed to look is stuck in my head. So...either way I'm screwed. UNLESS...the cast & crew actually follow the story & characters without altering anything. i.e. the King/Darabont collaborations, Snyder's Watchmen, Raimi's Spider Man, LOTR, etc... Those were all pretty much how I had imagined them to be. |
