Soooo..I am the only one who does nothing but free stuff on the internet?

I ain't gonna pay a penny for any internet crap.

I can tell you a few great freebies though.

Gimp2..EVERYthing that photoshop offers...for free.

xnxx.......a pretty friggen good range of porn.

Freeride games....I do the hidden object games.

I mainly find myself anti-virus shopping on my pc but, I have paid actual money for some of the apps on my Kindle Fire. (Dragon's Lair is sooooooo classic)

Gimp is pretty cool. Had to remove it due to limited space on my drive though.

I'll have to check out xnxx.

I use AVG for anti-virus. Been using it for years. Works great & it's 100% free.

Thanks man!

What is yours?

As far as media related items, such as, books, DVDs, CDs, and Video Games, I always go through Amazon. No place else has better deals. And you can't beat the selection. Plus it's usually free shipping, and you don't have to deal with traffic or crowds. I love it!

As far as major appliances/electronics, I have discovered that Walmart.com actually has some pretty smokin deals. And they have the free site-to-store shipping.

Oh boy, am I glad you asked! My favorite place is of course is TripleClicks.com.

It's great, you can sell your own stuff, sign up as an ECA an start your own business, or take your existing business online!

They have a little bit of everything, and are constantly growing!

The PriceBender auctions are amazing and addicting, you can save a ton of money on everyday items, and special items you can't find anywhere else.

You can earn money by joining as an affiliate, and more!

Saw some stuff for dirt cheap, then saw a TV for $38,000. Haha. WTF?!

Is this for real?

Rav. If you want a good "how-to" guide on lucid dreaming, I would recommend "The Art of Dreaming" by Carlos Casteneda.

It's also a very good read.

I agree. To blatantly discriminate in a hurtful manner in ANY art form. Not just music. Is intolerable.

Yeah. I tried watching a few films dubbed in English (with the subtitles still on). They never seem to match up. You're right. It is rather amusing though. Especially the Asian ones.

Kinda goin off topic here, but it doesn't really matter to me if the lyrics are negative or positive. As long as the music & vocals sound good. And, I'm not the type to be influenced by lyrics or have them effect my mood in any way.

Most of the rap artists I posted talk about gangbanging, sex, or getting high.

Same goes for a lot of rock & metal I listen too. Alice In Chains are one of my all time favorite bands and their material is FAR from positive. Just listening to the lyrics, somehow I knew it was just a matter of time before Layne offed himself.

But, on the same note, I can respect people that want their music to send out positive vibes.

To each their own.

I hear ya. I've gotten used to them over the years as well. And there are a few that actually incorporate the subtitles to go with the film. One good example is "Nightwatch".

LOL! Takes all kinds... I just find subtitles distracting, unfortunately. I want to see the picture, not have to be reading it as well.

Haha. I used to be the same way. But...working nights & living in apartment complexes with paper thin walls, I had to watch EVERY film with the subtitles on...so, I had to teach myself to get used to the reading & watching at the same time thing.

Sounds like a form of lucid dreaming.

I used to lucid dream quite often. Back when I was drinking oddly enough.

I have had this experience, waking from a dream, but I was always able to go back to sleep right away & pick up right where I left off in the dream.

I was also able to control my dreams at one time.

Crazy stuff...

I hate to read so I always wait for the movie.

There's a lot of excellent books that still have, and may never get film adaptations, won't knock ya for not liking to read, but you're missing out on some good stuff.

Reminds me of my brother, who has an exceptionally high IQ.

He's an avid reader, but refuses to watch foreign films because he doesn't wanna read the subtitles.

Does liking the movie The Disorderly Orderlies with The Fat Boys count as liking rap?

HAHAHA!!!

I remember that movie. I think it was called "The Disorderlies".

Too funny!

So far the only responses I've had from people I have sent messages to are only from people from the forums.

I've done the mutual match thing & sent out a few emails to local singles, but...no response.

I think I've had about maybe 5 profile views so far.

If we'll get into old school, than I might as well throw out Public Enemy.
Basically the best. Chuck D's delivery is godly and his lyrics are great. Love the political drive and social awareness.
Flava Flav is the only downside to Public Enemy I can think of.

Oh shite! How could I forget the Granddaddy of old school! Yes...I have a ton of respect for Chuck D & his message. Zero respect for Flava Flav & his...message?

Haha. Too many sub-genres goin on here. I'll just refer to it ALL as "Epic Metal". Cool?

Like I said. As long as I can understand the lyrics. No REAL "Death Metal", like Carcass, Death, Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, etc...

I have heard most of the bands mentioned here. Really dig Stratovarious, Symphony X, Rhapsody of Fire, Blind Guardian, Children of Bodom, Hammerfall, & Amon Amarth (especially Twilight of the Thunder God. KILLER album). Not a huge fan of the rest mentioned.

I'll give the other ones a listen.

Thanks!

It's been a while since I've been on here so I forgot how to do the link thing.

But, here are some artists I enjoy. Mind you, I'm not really a fan of this genre and I have to be in a mood to listen (which is very rare). And it's pretty much all old school stuff. I'll just throw out some artists.

2Pac - One of my all time favorites. I adore pretty much everything he spit out. R.I.P.

The Geto Boys - I also like some of Scarface & Bushwick Bill's solo stuff

Paris - The Devil made Me Do It. If your lookin for good flow & beats this is it. The lyrics are pretty racist, but it's good music.

Slick Rick

The Beastie Boys

Dr. Dre & Eminem

Eightball & MJG

E40

Tha Dogg Pound - No Snoop

For the most part, yes. But for good reason. I tend to get more motivated to do something if the deadline is short. It helps me get it done & I don't put it off TOO long where I have to rush it & be sloppy.

I can totally relate man.

I had one VERY weird, VERY frightening experience with a Ouija board myself.

It was me & my step-brother. This was years ago. I wanna say...1991. We got a Parker Brothers board for Christmas that year & it actually sat on a shelf in a closet for almost a year before we mustered up enough courage to try it.

So, we get it out, follow the instructions just how they said. Two people facing each other cross legged & the board was to be resting on both persons knees. So we set it up & everything, had the whole paranormal vibe/setup goin on. Candle burning, window open, lights off. So...I decided to ask the first question. BTW...while trying to communicate with the viewfinder thing...in order for it to work properly...absolutely NO fingers touching. I checked...and they weren't. Both of our hands were just hovering over the piece, not touching it at all. So, I ask the first question.

"Is there anybody there?"

It slowly moves over to yes. WITHOUT anything moving it. I kept asking my brother "Are you touching it or moving it?" I checked & clearly he was NOT. His fingers were about an inch above the piece, as were mine. This is NO JOKE. Next question.

"Who is this?"

It slowly spelled out Captain Blood.

At this point I'm a little freaked out, & my mind is trying to rationalize how in the HELL this thing is moving around and spelling words without anyone touching it.

It only took one more question.

"Are you here with us now?"

As soon as I asked, it went from slow to fast. Shot over to yes, and I immediately felt a cold chill sweep over me (my brother said he felt it too). The candle blew out (no wind from the open window), and the light came on.

We both literally RAN outside & it finally took us about an hour to go back in the house to retrieve the board & burn it.

I am NOT making this up people.

I have never even thought about trying to use one since...

I like The Walking Dead. Also enjoy Psych and Eureka(though this will be it's final season...seriously SyFy cancels good shows and keeps on Wrestling crap)

I'm surprised they haven't tried to bring back "American Gladiators". Or maybe they have. I don't know. I don't watch any other channels except HBO, Showtime, & AMC. Occasionally I might watch The Food Network, PBS, or Discovery...but that's about it.
