The best horror comedy films that come to mind... or rather your favorites.
I'd definitely go with: - An American Werewolf In London (a favorite in general) - Evil Dead II (also my favorite of the Evil Dead series) - My Name Is Bruce (though the horror takes a big backseat, I feel it qualifies) - Braindead/Dead Alive |

Agreed with all but "My Name Is Bruce". Not a huge fan (but I love Evil Dead 2). Obviously. The shirt & the tat.
Also...Gutterballs The Feast series. They progressively get funnier. Frankenhooker Basket Case To name a few... |

Yeah, I noticed that. Pretty awesome stuff bro.
I loved My Name Is Bruce if only for it being Bruce Campbell as himself, the self-aware humor and self-parody, and the constant references to other films and the reception of them. I dunno, it seemed like a perfect film for the fans of Campbell. Saw the first Feast. Loved it. I was going to grab the others once but I can get cautious of sequels when it comes to horror and comedy... I guess the combo ups my caution. (To an extent, I blame An American Werewolf In Paris.) |

Saturday the 14th Club Dread The Scream franchise Night of the Demons Idle Hands Zombieland Guinea Pig : Devil Doctor Woman The Monster Squad Gremlins Behind The Mask : The Rise & Fall of Leslie Vernon Serial Mom House of 1000 Corpses & The Devil's Rejects (not sure how well they fit the category, but I found them both to be pretty hilarious). The Gate The Frighteners & who could forget the cheeseball classic TEEN WOLF (ALSO starring Michael J. Fox) (which I noticed recently they remade it into a MTV series)!?!? Haha |

Now these films may or may not have been funny on purpose, BUT they sometimes are funnier than many comedies:
Don't Go In The Woods Pieces Burial Ground: The Nights Of Terror The Howling III Monster Dog Troll 2 Horror House On Highway 5 Blood Shack aka The Chooper Silent Night Deadly Night 2 Criminally Insane Splatter Farm Drive-In Massacre Horror On Spider Island Creature from the Haunted Sea Night Train To Terror The Loch Ness Horror Blackenstein The Giant Spider Invasion The Crater Lake Monster Terror In The Swamp There's also some funny movies that poke fun at 1950's(and older) horror and scifi cinema: Lobsterman From Mars Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes! And the films of Larry Blamire- The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra The Lost Skeleton Returns Again Trail Of The Screaming Forehead Dark And Stormy Night More spooky comedies I enjoy: Hillbillies In A Haunted House Hold That Ghost(Abbott & Costello) Sh! The Octopus The Ghost Train '41 The Ghost Breakers King Of The Zombies Ghost Catchers The Ghost And Mr. Chicken The Bowery Boys Meet the Monsters Ghosts On The Loose |

Burial Ground is one of the most oddball funny zombie flicks I've seen. I know it wasn't supposed to be, but...the whole oedipus thing goin on with the kid that looked like he was a grown man. Just too weird. But funny.

Have you seen the documentary "Best Worst Movie"?
It's about the making of Troll 2. Also funny, in an awkward kinda way. |

Yep, it was great. I love movie-themed documentaries. Not Quite Hollywood: The Wild, Untold Story of Ozploitation!, Machete Maidens Unleashed, Spine Tingler! The William Castle Story, Schlock! The Secret History of American Movies, American Grindhouse....

How the heck did I forget- Return Of The Living Dead.
Also, for a fun giant bug flick- Infestation. |

Not my kind of film(s) or humour (i.e. scary movie and the like) but I did like Beetlejuice.
