Michael Mcintyre!!
Have you ever seen his clip "The dentist"? Lasts about 17 mins. First time I watched it I had to pause it a number of times as I was close to passing out of laughter in my chair.
The man is an utterly brilliant comedian!

Eww, I am off to watch it now. I will get back to you...flowerforyou

In New Zealand there is a funny folk song that goes way back sung by a comedian named Fred Dagg, (John Clarke) called "If it were'nt for your gumboots".
I only just learned he poached and modified it from Billy Connolly's song "If it wasnae fur yer wellies".
surprised surprised surprised

My two favorite comedians are Billy Connolly and Micheal McIntyre.
Who are your favorites?

The people that approached the kid did so because he just shot and killed someone. The person he shot was already down when the kid shot him 3 more times. It was the kids actions that created the situation. You can’t claim self defense for a situation you created. None of his actions were reasonable and had he just not had the gun and went around administering medical assistance like he said he was there to do none of this would have happened.

The whole thing is a tragedy. Did he have enough life experience or training to understand pointing your gun at people to exercise power is considered a threat? If he had not been so dodgy about buying and then carrying the gun without parent's consent, this would not have happened.
Unfortunatly, I believe he bought this upon himsellf and now will be scarred for life.
Noone wins here.

waving Just trying to help. Please do not isolate.

No man is an island,
Entire of itself,
Every man is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thy friend's
Or of thine own were:
Any man's death diminishes me,
Because I am involved in mankind,
And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls;
It tolls for thee.

John Donne

That is a really good poem.

ot: I'm starting to think Ladywind really likes poetry a whole lot.

I do Mike. I wrote my first poem at 7 years of age...I still remember showing it to my father. He wrote too, but I never saw any of his poems till he passed.
He kept that hidden....flowerforyou

John Roedel is quite the poet, not many fancy metaphors, but he hits straight to the heart ❤.
Thanks for reading Robin and Julie xxx

Here is my take, and I am probably wrong....
Grief and trauma,(divorce) shatters everything we know, mostly our stability in the belief we are living life right.
Bad things happen to good people, it makes us self reflect on everything, from the choices we have made to our own mortality. Most find their way out of that 'Rabbit hole' eventually, but are never the same person.

As for other people, we do not need to understand/perceive anything about them, just let them be. Everyone is trying to do their best, life is about learning.
Sometimes we get stuck in our heads with no clear answers, that is when we ought to see a counsellor or talk to friends, to help us become unstuck.

OUR BELIEFS ARE OUR REALITY..WHAT WE SEEK WE ALSO FIND........THEY

BECOME OUR SCRIPT WE FOLLOW.....WE BUILD ENTIRE STROKE SYSTEMS

AROUND OUR BELIEF SYSTEMS.....BY STROKE I MEAN A UNIT OF

RECOGNITION....LIKE POSITIVE STOKE,NEGATIVE STROKE, MARSHMALLOW

STROKE , AND ECT....OUR BELIEFS MAKE UP WHO WE ARE AND THE PATH OUR

LIFE TAKES....WE WANT CHANGE IT'S UP TO US AS INDIVIDUALS TO MAKE

THOSE CHANGES......THAT'S MY STORY AND STICKING TO IT......

:grinning: Hi Cleve, is that a post for or against cessation?
