are you implying that the only purpose for love is reproduction? and what about those who don't believe in God or even your God for that matter? why should they be forced to abide by rules they don't care much for? if you believe in those rules, good for you, don't marry a guy but i don't think it's our right to mandate people's personal choices of whom they wanna love and share their lives with. it goes against the very principles this country was built on. freedom of the individual in case you're wondering... The whole purpose of male and female is to reproduce....even flowers, animals, vegetables, fruit trees, fish, trees on and on ALL have male and female sexes................was anyone in here ever in a biology class? BTW, I have yet to see male dogs 'breeding' with each other.....I can say that because I was very involved with the showing and breeding of English Springer Spaniels and involved in national dog clubs and national dog shows.....NOPE, seems dogs have more common sense............ The point to matter is, We are all resigned to the same fate, we are all going to die, someday. All they are trying to do is enjoy the time that we have in there own personal way, all that is wanted is there own brand of fulfillment, there own joy and happiness, and ANYONE who fills they have the Right/Obligation to take that away from anyone is nothing short of a TRAITOR to EVERYTHING this country stands for, PERIOD!! I am amazed that this thread is here at all considering that it is considered hate speech to disagree with the gay activism in this country???? I wonder if any mod can explain that to me? Just like the Christian laws and/or Ten Commandments... You will FAIL in following God's laws... no Man and no Christian can follow all of God's laws... we all lack. The purpose of the laws are not there for you to 100% follow (it is impossible)... its purpose is to show you that you lack God and you need God's Grace and Salvation. NO KIDDING....John 3:16...for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have life eternal..... Jesus was sent here so sinners (I included) have the opportunity to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and be forgiven for their sins........"FOR all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God".....thus through repentance and acceptance of Jesus and HIS teachings....we are cleansed of our sin.......nothing hard about that to understand. Commenting on a thread or on posts of others without reading first is disrespectful...of yourself and your fellow posters in my opinion. I read the posts that proceed mine and I would hope others do as well. Otherwise aren't you just posting for yourself? Seriously, I was under the impression that forums are a place to share and exchange information and opinions? Maybe I was wrong... maybe I was wrong too!! I think its worth commenting... ... about how many (self-proclaimed) "Christians" on this board are addicted to argumentative behavior, and at every slight political reason, chime in as if they speak with the mouth of God. Thus inviting people to bad mouth them... and then wondering why they don't find "Christian Rights" here... ummm... sort of like Gay people wanting "Gay Rights." (???) What is it in their mental make-up that causes them to invite this bashing of their faith? (or belief system) What is it in the mental make-up that causes people to bash that same faith? (or belief system) It amazes me to find people arguing so bitterly about such a wide variety of stuff. I really think it isn't "in the name of God" these types argue on and on endlessly, but it is in the very bitterness of their soul that they have allowed the world to enter in and convert them to be such argumentative types. There are a million more productive things to do with one's life the to extinguish life's precious time here on this web site heaped nearly irretrievably in some kind of completely vain argument. I think I can observe this for all people.... ... arguing feeds the flesh. And for a faith that is taught to deny the flesh, this might be worth consideration. Google and find out just what the US Supreme court is obligated to review....It only takes cases where it is felt that the lower courts erred in its findings...... It is the highest court in the USA and cannot be interpreting every single case that has entered any level of the judicial system......the case MUST have MERIT to be heard before the US Supreme court................ Thank-you for the lesson. While you were using your search engine did you happen to search for any cases regarding marriarge discrimination that have been submitted for Supreme Court Review? OR how about ANY case submitted in which Homosexuals are claiming discrimination of the law? They are more difficult to find, but they are there and there has been refusal to call them up. Also, this is not 'just any old case'. It is a case specifically appealing to constitutional law and while it is neglected millions are being discrimated against. By the way, have you wondered what cases the Supreme court has decided to hear, INSTEAD? How about the 20 year old Exxon Valdez incident in Alaska - not the major battle, but the disagreement on punitive damages. I'm sure after 20 years this had greater ranking than determining the constitutionality of a case in which millions continue to be discriminated against because Federal law 'allows' it. Of the 8 or so cases per year the SC reviews, how many do REALLY think are more important. How would you know, unless you knew the cases they CHOSE to review AND over which cases they took precident? Leaning new things is great and I commend you; but what good is the knowledge if you don't use it to complete the research? Stay the course and compare what you have learned with reality. ******************************************** First, I am a legal secretary...........read between the lines........... AND I HAVE COMPLETE FAITH IN OUR JUDICIAL SYSTEM, and trust the decisions made by our US Supreme Court.......THEY OBVIOUSLY KNOW MORE THAN YOU.... YOU SHOW ME a case where gays/lesbians have had their constitutional rights violated......this should be interesting....... |
