i am former military, i still have friends in the sand box. it is unfortunate but it is what it is. i wish you and your son the best. tell him to stay positive. nothing will hurt his time in the service more than being negative. i speak from experience. You are right...he says the same thing...will support his brothers and sisters in arms but hates all that this war is. I was so hoping he would miss this thing. Kat he has to realize that a free democratic Iraq makes for a more free and democratic mid east and that makes us all safer. I dont think the war was the right thing to do for the reasons we where given but if we think about it in the terms that no democratic nation has ever attacked another democratic nation then we can see the potential for peace buried under the mess that is Iraq. |

Child physical, emotional, and sexual abuse is unforgivable and no doubt can have an adverse affect on the adult life. But when something bad happens to me, I don't seek it out and make happen again. I don't know, maybe I'm just a hard a$$, but I think that has become an easy excuse for bad behavior. Bad in this case being because he had a loving wife and kids, and people all over the world who looked to him for guidance. IMO
pretty good excuse, no way to proove it did or didnt happen. and you get to go to the church and get pitty beacause you got touched in the bad place when you where 7. what an asshole |
