i wish anyone talked about me like lori talks about you..know what i mean? good luck,at any rate. We just aren't " beautiful " or " gorgeous " dude. We just make the best of it. Always cracks me up to see someone pissing and moaning about women actually viewing the profile. I was here for over a year and got exactly THREE views. Fishing seems to come to mind. |

Come on now. It's been pointed out many times by a certain poster here that " Promise " only means " I'll try " in Obamaland.
Once again...the Obamabots will come up with SOME kind of " soft language " to make sure the spin goes the way they want it to. Just look at ole Barry himself. "This report is a sign that our economy is getting stronger by the day," Obama told a crowd at a suburban truck dealership in Maryland. Who in the HELL does he think he's kidding. The economy is in the toilet and is NOT getting any better. Jobs are NOT being created. Several MILLION people out of work ( an awful lot of them not even being counted ) and 41,000 jobs is a " sign of recovery "??? What fantasy land is he living in?? It sure as HELL isn't the United States. |

Meh.....mushy crap!!!!!   yeah...wasn't there a room created for this sort of thing? or was it for people to get away from it...hell i'm still not clear on that! It was supposed to be for those looking to get away from all the mushy that was floating around this place at the time. And when it showed up, people were supposed to tell them ( the mushy perpetrators ) to go get a room. Not sure WHY that was so confusing...lol i think it is because we had people interpreting it both ways, which is really no surprise since all this mushy stuff has a tendency to make people go brain dead....uhhh no offense of course...  None taken...lmao |

RIP Lima. He played for the astros many years ago and we all miss him. how about them astros, huh?? I'll be going to Great American Ballpark this Friday to watch the Reds put a beating on the Astros. It is a very nice stadium............  That it is. I was VERY impressed. That place is incredible. |

Armando Galarraga came within one out of pitching a perfect game for the Detroit Tigers.
On the 27th out...the first base umpire absolutely blew the call that would have given Galarraga the final out. On replay, the umpire ( 22 year veteran Jim Joyce ) ADMITTED to blowing the call and went looking for Armando. He found him and personally apologized for getting the call wrong. As much as I want to despise Joyce for denying a young pitcher the first perfect game in the history of one of the oldest franchises in baseball, I simply can't. I respect the fact that he stepped up, admitted he made a mistake, and made the effort to apologize. |

Thank you to everyone who has posted on this thread. I know Tim has many friends here and it's so nice to see everyone wish us well. I can't tell you how flattered I am that he made this thread. He calls himself just a guy, but he's more then that to me.    What a first date I don't do them very often. And I really don't think I am ever going to have to do one again. I wanted it to be something special without doing something " typical " or cliched. I'm REALLY glad that she likes baseball...lmao You are a lucky man, she is one of those "one in a million" chicas. Yes she is...and yes...I am definitely a VERY lucky man. After all the mistakes I have made in my life....to get another chance at love with someone like her is something I would have never thought about. Of course, all those mistakes also taught me how to appreciate her. Awwww my two favorite Minglers posting about me. Doesn't get much better then that!...you guys ROCK!!!!  As far as the amazing things you have said about me Tim....I am simply blown away. I can only hope that I can make you as happy as I am right now.

Awwwwww super sweet thread babe!!! Thank you for all those wonderful things you have said. We did have a blast on our date. We ate some awesome food  ( the restaurant was called Jefferson Hall btw ), saw an amazing game ( the Red's won WHOOHOO!) and the company was pretty great too . So yeah, it has to be the best date I ever had as well. YOU MAKE SUCH A CUTE COUPLE!!  Maybe someday it'll happen for me Believe me, Holly. If it can happen for me, it can happen for everyone. If my calculations are right -you've been here since '07 and it's 2010---so it should take me another year before I find this special man of mine...hmmmmmm Well...I was alone for two full years prior to joining this site too....lmao |

Ah, the smell of Conservative Schadenfreude in the morning. Although I can't understand what all the excitement's about-- Limbaugh's three marital breakups sure trump Gore's... -Kerry O. Not considering the fact that Al and Tipper were together for 40 years and Al once said that the novel Love Story was based on he and Tipper. Which surprised the author and of course the author denied. More and more honesty from good old Al. Well..I think most rational people would have known that he was being somewhat facetious. I would agree that this is somewhat accurate.
I know that, for me, thinking about suddenly being around someone on a regular basis after having it be just me and the animals for over 5 years was a bit daunting. |

I had just come home from another of my bad life experiences. I was sleeping on my Mom's couch and she woke me up just after the first plane hit with the words " You really need to wake up and see this. "
I watched for a few minutes....saw the second plane hit, and went and got my brother. We sat for the rest of the morning watching. |

Just got back to work that week after my mother died, Sept. 11 is also my sobriety anniversary date, I celebrated 20 yrs sober 9/11/01 Heh..I went past Toledo on my way to Cincinatti. lol |
