do dating sites really work?
|
|
Iv bn on a couple of dating sites now for what seems like ages and yet I never seem to get any messages or replies.Maybe im not very goodlooking or have a rubbish profile .I am so fed up of bn single its a lonely life I am such a loving guy I just wish I had someone to share it with. Well..it worked for me. You are going to have to get comfortable being single. That is the biggest key. Being " fed up " of being single is something that women can sense when talking to someone and it just reeks of desperation. Another thing is your obvious lack of self confidence. You have to SEND messages to GET messages, dude. Be who you are...but be POSITIVE about who you are. If you are truly a " loving guy " women will see it. If you are just a " nice guy " ( read : Whiner ) who complains about not getting dates, they will eat you alive. |

I would love to say I am definitely gonna show up....but...
I seem to be otherwise occupied these days. Any traveling I would be doing will be in a Southerly direction. |

Someone needs to tell them which drinks are worthy And you are the PERFECT woman for the job. If the drink sucks..you'll flat out tell em. lol |

It definitely sounds like a " flat " version of a Stromboli.
But...it sounds pretty doggone tasty. Although, one would want to be careful with the amounts of ingredients. Too many ingredients, or too much of a few, will keep the " dough " from baking through properly. |

Too many to list really, but I would have to say BBQ including slow smoked ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. I eat too much of it. Living where I live...I don't get NEARLY enough good BBQ. |

Meh...the woman in the picture with me appreciated the fact that I complimented her eyes ( which are GORGEOUS ) and then added some humor when I told her that I promise that I'm not a stalker type. Different things work well for different women. Some will respond to a simple " Hello. I saw something in your profile...." and some won't. You just have to be who you are. Nothing more. Nothing less. The number one rule on contacting someone here is that there ARE NO RULES. Well....ONE rule...don't be a perv in the first email. Ah, I think I see where I'm failing now. So, when should you be a perv? Second mail? Third mail? LOL!! If we actually knew that....there would be a lot fewer females around here complaining about guys being a bunch of pervs...lmao |

the image of the other candidate might have been poor enough for people to vote AGAINST him,, and this candidates name was first on the list(at the top of the choices), plus the other candidate had a strange NAME(which is also part of image, if you look at all the celebs who have 'stage' names as opposed to their real ones)
Oh my. You are one to always want to think that voters actually educate themselves before they vote. Yet, when presented with OBVIOUS proof that they, indeed, do NOT ( hence the 60% of the vote this guy got ) you make excuses for their sheer stupidity and laziness. Face it...the 60% that voted for him voted for the first name that had a (D) behind it and couldn't be bothered to actually KNOW who they were voting for. |

The sheriff's office received a tip from a former Sizzler manager who claimed he had been fired for his refusal to hire employees without the proper documents, Lee said.
This line is slightly misleading. The manager claims to have been fired because he would hire people who didn't have the proper documents. As the line is written, he would have been fired for not hiring people EVEN THOUGH they had proper documents. |

I am just flat out laughing my azz off over this one. " WHAT??? 60% of the Democrat Party voters voted for THIS GUY?? OMG!!! There's no WAY they could be THAT stupid. He HAD to have been " planted " by the Republicans!!! " I was kinda thinking, also, that maybe the voters viewed Alvin's name wrong. The name almost comes close to Al Green or Allen Green. Any name that sounds famous must be a good choice to vote for. Truly retarded to think that, but hey. What can I say. I read in the paper today that Greene, as of yesterday, is officially a candidate for the Senate race. If I have to sit here and read about this shenanigan, I'm officially voting for Jim DeMint. yeah, that article is interesting. I guess people vote for lots of reasons, ...we see examples in these threads even of people voting for race or religious affiliation, Im sure they vote by the sound of a name too(remember all those who wouldnt vote Hussein because of his name?),,,,Greenes opposing candidate had an odd sounding name too there are many potential reasons why people vote the way they do and I would guess in this age of media,, image is most of it But this guy didn't do any serious campaigning...didn't get much media exposure... So how, exactly, could he have cultivated an " image " for people to vote for?? |

Good job if it is true. But if we do not get our borders under control it will not accomplish anything long term. Aren't you the same person who likes to say that our National Border is nothing more than an " imaginary line " in the first place? Aren't you the same person who has said that those who have crossed our National Border have done " nothing wrong " and should not be deported?? So...if that's the case, then how can you justify " securing " something that is " imaginary "??? |
