I miss the 80s mall experience. So many different types chilling and mingling in the food court. Everything all new and cool and positive around you...... even though you couldn't afford anything on your own -like an art gallery, really. Even cheered up the punk rockers and the pre-goths.

We exist as patterns -arrangements of that which exists.

Reproduction shows that -at the very least -the pattern of a human can exist/be stored in some sort of memory.

A (human) zygote is essentially a mingling of data from two humans -which then produces another human.

So... life after death would require our individual patterns -including personal memories -to be stored/remembered -and a process by which we could be reproduced.

As information, it would also be editable -memories and characteristics could be changed.

But what if it was a choice between chain pizza and a little piece of melba toast?

This one time I had enough pizza hut rewards to get a free large anything pizza. Loaded it up with mucho toppings -stuffed crust -crust seasoning.....

But had the wrong address as default.... so I waited ...stomach growling ...almost cried when I found out

Fun is the meaning of life. Maybe some don't want to accept they are getting older, but some are just still having fun and appreciating well-made and exciting things.

Apart from allowing whatever is in the clearance section to limit my wardrobe choices, I am fairly picky and love quality things.
If you can just look at something and get the "hell yah" feeling that makes you want to keep looking at it....AND it serves a purpose...AND that purpose is also fun... why not?

Plus... there is always the excuse that quality things are good investments.

Not your fault if they help start conversations, etc...
or that being an interesting, fun person gives others the "hell yah" feeling.

Though some read it differently, Christ essentially said that when we are immortal we are without gender, as such (neither marrying or being given in marriage, but as the angels).

He also essentially said being immortal would be better than being human.

Sex is an awesome way to express love... but not the end-all, be-all experience.

Actually, if you understand how relationships can be amazing and fun without it -say... if it did not exist -then sex is actually way better, as it is in proper context.

Still... it also pretty much assures that we will keep reproducing.

Anyway... what if there were something BETTER than sex -but just not associated with reproduction?

I guess you have to draw the line somewhere. Still... getting bested by a particle... perhaps worse

Sniffling at a heart-wrenching movie :(

It feels like missing the good stuff but that feeling is overwhelmed by not missing everything that comes with a relationship gone south.

The more we learn, the more picky we are.
